After convenient, pre-dawn pickup from your Luxor hotel or cruise ship, cross the River Nile to the West Bank – where your hot air balloon awaits. After a safety briefing and introduction to your ground crew and pilot, you will climb into the balloon's basket and get ready for lift off. Then it’s time for takeoff. Away from the daytime crowds, you will drift peacefully over the west Bank of Luxor and sights such as the monuments of Thebes. As the early morning sun rises over the East Bank, the city and the surrounding mountains will be illuminated in stunning golden hues. Your expert guide will also regale you with insights on history as you take in landmarks such as Queen Hatshepsut's Temple and Karnak, among other important structures. It was a sweet sunrise experience we booked from Shiba Tours and I love thanking Merna for helping us get a reservation a few hours before the trip
Nice con! We treat tourists like cattle. We had booked months in advance for a flight with sunrise We took off at 6:45 when the sunrise is at 6:20 - we were the last balloon And as we took off late there was no wind and we didn't even get past the Valley of the Kings... Our dream was ruined The attitude of the organizers was abhorrent Business to flee We are money pumps
Terrible because we were not picked up so did not get to go on this experience! We waited in our hotel reception, the pick up point from 3am to 4.30am and no one came to collect us! The stated time for pick up was 3.30am but we did not receive confirmation! I tried to contact the tour operator and left an email the previous day. The phone no. given for customer questions was not an Egyptian one. I had given our hotel phone no. for our contact if not being informed by email which I could be reached!
Worst company ever. They scammed my money. An keep lying about refund. I’ve reached out many times a they keep making exscuses. Then finally for my 320 dollar ticket they refunded me 1.20$ just to add salt to the wound.

Super good organization. They pick you up wherever you ask them to, in our case on the cruise. And we left in the balloon at dawn. The views of Luxor are super beautiful. We recommend it 100%
Fantastic! Excellent price and organization. It's a spectacle to see them all inflate the hot air balloons together, competing to see who can fly first. The dawn flight is highly recommended.
The balloon flight was amazing! The views were incredible and all the staff was so kind with me and my 8 friends. They picked up us at the boat in the morning and offered us a little breakfast, then we take a faluca and arrived to the balloon station. The day was incredible and we enjoyed every minute 🥰. We recommend absolutely this experience, a must if you are in Luxor… the ancient temple views are unforgettable. Thank you to all the staff and team!!
