5 star boat ride!

Comfy chairs and a nice bar. Jesse was kind and great and Austin helps you with whatever you need! I had terrific time! Would go again 1000 more times. (This was written by my 8 yr old nephew GG)

Unable to attend

Unfortunately we were not able to attend due to a last minute medical reason and disappointed that I was not able to receive a refund or at least reschedule for another date. Left a message on the number provided in the confirmation email but the voicemail was never checked. At least the guide called to check if we were coming because we were not there at the departure time. I’m sure it would have been a nice sail, was sorry to miss it.

Not enough seats

Great time, great music, cheerful crew. Only complaint is not enough seating for the number of passengers. We had to stand the whole ride. Passengers were saving seats with purses & not sharing with the few with no seat. Honestly I felt like a second class ticket, but paid full price.

Favorite experience of the week!

This was the most fun thing we did with our Tour Pass! We said the minute we got off that it will be a must do every time we are in Charleston. The sunset views were amazing. So much better than walking across the Ravenel Bridge to get pictures. There is just something wonderful about being out on the water. It did take a minute to figure out where to go to get on the boat as the email through Tour Pass said it’s behind Red’s and to park in the garage there. It is behind Red’s, but on the other side of the canal. You should park at the Waterfront restaurant.

Sunset cruise is ok

Overall it’s a nice experience. They request you lineup a half hour before departure time and let you on the boat about 10 minutes before you set sail. The front of the boat is full of these seats that are set on the floor of the ship so if you have a problem getting up from the ground that’s not the spot for you. There are some bench style seats in the rear. The one thing I didn’t love was they pack the boat so for many attendees it’s standing room only for 2 hours. There’s no narration by crew they just play some music. There is a bar on the ship but no hard alcohol so no mixed drinks. Also no snacks on the boat, It’s a sunset cruise but the first hour you’re driving straight into the sun so bring shades. There are two bathrooms on board which are clean and the staff is friendly but without any narration or interaction your kinda just floating along, I was a bit bored and I’m not sure why. I’ve done sunset cruises at other locations like in newport and loved them, this one you sail around for two hours but not much to see to be honest. I’m not saying don’t give it a try I just think I was expecting something else.
