While aboard the Carolina Belle your professional and licensed captain will narrate history, sights, and facts about the Charleston Harbor as you pass locations critical to United States history. You will get close-up views of the Holy City's most famous and charming sights such as Fort Sumter: One of Charleston's most popular landmarks, where the first shots of the Civil War were fired, USS Yorktown: the famous World War II “Fighting Lady," Confederate and Union army Forts Moultrie and Johnson, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church: A surviver of both the Revolutionary and Civil Wars, whose steeple was painted black so as not to be an easy target, Stately homes on the Battery: Symbols of Southern elegance and perseverance.
You will also see the Cooper River Bridges, including the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge: A state of the art span that accommodates the largest ships in the world and connects downtown Charleston to Mount Pleasant. To add to this wonderful experience, don't be surprised if you see Dolphins skimming the surface of the water and pelicans diving for food.

- There is a flat pier out to the boat and the boarding ramp is about 30 feet long. Travelers will board on the top deck and there are stairs to the lower level. Restrooms are located on the top deck.

It was a great experience with a helpful and fun crew. The boat has some years behind it but it did great. Highly recommend this trip.
It was a great harbor cruise. Helpful and kind staff, smooth cruise boat, and the rain even stopped for us. It was a very informative cruise that we thoroughly enjoyed.
Nice calm boat cruise with informative tour guide explaining some interesting facts on the city of Charleston! Also had a bar with various drinks and snacks which we enjoyed. We would recommend for all ages. It was a great way to unwind in the evening and we also got to see some dolphins too! 5 stars!

The Charleston Harbor Cruise was a very pleasant way to learn much of the history of Charleston Harbor. Captain Jackson’s narration was easy to understand and the ride was smooth. We even got to see several dolphins along the way.
Fun and informative tour of the harbor. Captain Jackson was great-knowledgeable and funny. Good part of our visit to Charleston.
Unfortunately I’m unable to rate this due to the excursion was cancelled because of boat issues. Our money was refunded in a timely manner and hopefully when we’re in the area again, we’ll have the opportunity to have the tour.
