Unbelievable cooking experience… Gilda was extremely knowledgeable, kind and such yummy food!! I am still dreaming about the meal and wish I could eat the cooking again today. Beautiful home… thank you, forever Sicilian friend!!
Our pasta making experience with Maria Rita was outstanding!! She is a beautiful woman, with incredible skill, passion and joy and she welcomed us into her home so generously! We made 3 types of pasta, 3 Sicilian sauces and tiramisu... followed by a shared meal at her table! We loved the experience and would recommend both Maria Rita as your host and Cesarine as an incredible community! Keep up the great work 🥰🙏🏻
Maria Rita was wonderful. She demonstrated how to and then we made delicious pasta and tiramisu. Everything was perfect and we can’t wait to share our experience with friends. The view from her home was amazing.
Such a unique experience! To be in our chef’s home and meet her family and cook in her kitchen…. We made pastas from scratch and heard stories of her grandmother. Maria Rita is a wonderful cook, she is warm and gracious. I recommend her 100%. We will do this again on our next visit!
Silvia was a wonderful host! It was great being in a small setting in her kitchen and getting to ask questions and really understand the nuances of Sicilian cooking. I highly recommend this class :)
We did a cooking class with Sylvia and it was amazing. She was a generous, patient hostess and teacher and the food was perfection. Highly recommend if you can!
It was a great cooking experience! Maria Rita and her husband welcomed us warmly and we enjoyed an aperitivo with traditional Sicilian dishes before our cooking lesson. Even though I was a complete beginner in the cooking class, thanks to her detailed guidance, we were able to enjoy cooking. The dinner of two types of pasta and tiramisu was so delicious that it was hard to believe that they were made with such simple ingredients, and the tomato sauce that was passed down in her family was especially delicious. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a nice experience and dinner in Syracuse.
What an evening! A warm welcome by Maria Rita and her son, Giacomo. Aperitivo of traditional Sicilian snacks, then off to the kitchen. Step-by-step we learned the pasta-making process, then tiramisu from scratch…we were wined and dined in true Sicilian fashion in her beautiful home. A highlight of our journeys.
We loves Maria’s class. We made fresh pasta with swordfish, tomatoes and garlic, chickpea fritters and tiramisu. She was so welcoming and invited us into her home and her family was wonderful. Her sons Giacomo helped translate between English and Italian. My mom loved speaking Italian to her and Maria got a kick out of hearing my mothers Italian. Highly recommend this experience!
