Cave, Waterfall and River Adventure in Charco Azul from San Juan
Description
This is an absolutely unforgettable experience. This day trip has it all: adventure, pristine tropical rivers, waterfalls, cave swimming, beautiful scenery, adrenaline, fun and even some archeology/history along the day. We will swim through caves, go under cool waterfalls, and even cliff jump from cliffs ranging from 8 to 27 feet (optional of course.) The place is almost undiscovered, not like El Yunque where you can easily encounter hundreds of people in a single day. Mostly just locals here or people who come with us! The drive from the meeting point to the rainforest caves is about one hour. Along the way you will see the real Puerto Rico, quite removed from the tourist area. You will see a more rural way of life where the locals are connected with nature. The scenery along the drive and hike is absolutely incredible. Once the adventure begins, we will take you through the jungle. We grew up doing this and know the area like the back of our hands, so you are safe with us.

Charco Azul and its other-worldly views is something that you simply cannot miss. Swimming through caves is exhilarating. At the end we go cliff jumping (optional) for even more adrenaline. This visit includes the Arenales Caves as well.

Shmuel was a great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable about the land and its history. Our group was around six people, which made it very intimate. The hike was moderate with beautiful scenery. Lots of great photo opportunities as well. Overall the whole experience was around four hours, definitely worth your money!
This trip was well worth it. Swimming through the caverns were awesome. Roy is a great and caring leader who made sure everyone was taken care of throughout the trip while sharing in the experience that he had growing up.

Highlight of the trip 10/10 experience. Alexis was awesome super knowledgeable and navigated us safely in the car and during the excursion. The hiking part was not difficult and he made sure everyone knew how to get through safely. Also had everything we needed including a dry bag for our valuables. Took tons of great pictures and videos for us. Highly highly recommend!!!

Edgar was absolutely incredible. He felt like family immediately and my teenage daughters felt so safe hiking and jumping off really tall rocks. We would definitely do this again. The beautiful and entire experience was perfect.
Roy was our guide and he was so amazing. Learning the PR heritage and about the area was great. Caves were so breathtaking and water was refreshing. We met wonderful people and had a great experience. Also loved Roy’s Spider-Man abilities climbing rocks to the 25 foot dive. You can feel the passion in his work and life.
