Itinerary
Inspired by the legendary 1942 film Casablanca, Rick’s Café recreates the ambiance of the movie that immortalized the city. With its old-world charm, classic piano tunes, and vintage decor, the café offers a nostalgic step back in time. Even if you’re not dining, a quick photo stop here makes for a memorable part of your visit.
Standing proudly over the Atlantic Ocean, the Hassan II Mosque is a breathtaking architectural masterpiece and one of Morocco’s most iconic landmarks. It’s the tallest mosque in Africa, with a minaret soaring 210 meters high. Visitors can admire its intricate mosaics, marble floors, and a glass floor that allows views of the sea beneath. This mosque is one of the few in Morocco open to non-Muslim visitors on guided tours.
This scenic coastal promenade is lined with cafés, restaurants, beach clubs, and hotels. The Corniche of Ain Diab is ideal for a relaxing walk with views of the Atlantic and a peek at Casablanca’s modern beachfront lifestyle. You’ll also glimpse luxury villas and architectural gems in nearby Anfa and Maarif districts.
A lesser-known gem, this modern Catholic church surprises visitors with its simple exterior and spectacular interior — filled with vibrant stained glass windows that bathe the entire space in colorful light. A quiet grotto dedicated to the Virgin Mary adds a peaceful touch.
At the heart of Casablanca’s modern downtown lies this busy square, representing the intersection of cultures and commerce. It reflects Morocco’s modern aspirations alongside its historical roots, with shopping areas, tram lines, high-rises, and lively cafés all converging here.
Built in the 1930s during the French protectorate, the Habbous Quarter combines French town planning with traditional Moroccan architecture. Stroll through narrow alleys lined with bookshops, spice stalls, leather goods, and artisan shops. Near the Royal Palace, this area is rich in culture and ideal for shopping and photography.
This lively market is a vibrant blend of smells, colors, and sounds. Vendors sell fresh produce, seafood, spices, crafts, and souvenirs. It’s the perfect place to interact with locals and experience the rhythm of daily life in Casablanca.
Unlike the medinas of Fes or Marrakech, Casablanca’s Old Medina is smaller but filled with charm. Wander through the winding alleys packed with traditional Moroccan houses, artisan workshops, and local cafés. The Old Medina offers a more authentic, non-touristy side of the city — ideal for walking tours.

The tour operator did not show up. We called and tests times and did not pick up nor answer the call.
Abdul contacted us well ahead of the tour & was very clear with the pick-up instructions. He was extremely accommodating, professional & knowledgeable throughout the tour & more than willing to respond to any particular requests.
it was a great experience. We got to see a lot of sites in Casablanca. Our tour guy was very knowledgeable.
It was a first-class tour of Casablanca. Not only did we get to see the Hassan II Mosque, the harbor, the lighthouse and the famous Rick's cafe, we also got to see the sights of the inner city, the King's palace, and the shoppes. We had a wonderful time with our guide Anwar, and the other couple who joined us.
We did not have the tour we paid for. We had another driver and we did not know until that morning. We were late and the pickup place was changed. The tour turned out okay. I could only communicate through What’s App. It was stressful and the other 2 couples were not happy.
Youssef was amazing. He was very informative and made sure that we saw everything and got the pictures that we wanted. Visiting the Mosque was a great experience. We were able to spend some time at the market and do some shopping.
Nice tour no whining with taxi. Nicely picked up and very friendly driver with explanations of the sights. We were on a cruise here.
This wasn't really a guided tour in the traditional sense. Instead, it felt more like a very good transfer service with a kind and polite driver. He took us to the main sights around Casablanca, told us where to go in and where to take photos, and was always friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for deep historical commentary or a structured tour with a guide, this might not be it. But if you just need someone to drive you comfortably between the highlights, give you basic directions, and do it all with a smile – then this works well. The driver really made the experience pleasant. Just don't expect a full guided tour.
It went very smoothly from beginning to end. Anouar was very friendly and professional. The price point is really good and we got to do it last minute. That was a real plus. I will be using Viatour again.
Anouar was an excellent driver in a very busy city. He was very knowledgable and was willing to stop for photos at the important sites. He was very accommodating and kind. We would recommend him highly.
