We will collect you from your hotel around sunrise (it really is the best time of the day) and take you to our office in Goreme. Our pilots check the weather conditions and decide on the best launch site for the preferred flight path. Once at the launch site there will be a full safety briefing and you will have first hand experience of the balloon inflation. The crew will help you into the basket and when everyone is happy and comfortable, the moment you have dreamt of...up, up and away! Below you, a unique landscape, a combination of natural beauty and a deep and complex history. Before we return to your hotel, we celebrate our flights with champagne and passengers each receive a personalized commemorative flight certificate and medal with our sincere thanks for sharing the best part of our day. As we can not start to fly without having their(The Civil Aviation Authority) daily permission we can't guarantee to take off before sunrise.

Absolutely incredible experience! The hot air balloon flight over Cappadocia was easily one of the highlights of our trip. The views were breathtaking, especially during sunrise, and seeing hundreds of balloons in the sky made the whole experience unforgettable. Everything was very well organized from start to finish. The staff were professional, friendly and made us feel completely safe throughout the flight. The pilot was excellent and the landing was very smooth. Butterfly Balloons exceeded our expectations and I would definitely recommend them to anyone visiting Cappadocia. It’s an experience you simply shouldn’t miss. 10/10!
From start to finish, this was one of the most impressively run experiences I’ve ever been part of. Everything — from the hotel pick‑up, the organisation at the launch site, the lift‑off, the landing with the chaser vehicles, and the return back — ran like a perfectly coordinated operation. We could really feel how much expertise and teamwork goes into making the whole morning smooth, safe, and genuinely enjoyable. Our pilot, Mustafa Bozlak, was exceptional. He was experienced, calm, and incredibly friendly. He made sure we had time down in one of the valleys that many balloons didn’t reach that morning, and he pointed out the different areas as we floated over them. One of the best surprises was the 360° video they filmed during the flight. Had we known how good it would be, we probably wouldn’t have bothered taking photos ourselves. It beautifully captures the whole experience, in still pictures and videos and we dip back into it every now and again as it's quite fun to pan around! It does cost extra, it was worth every Lira. The team was also incredibly thoughtful. The post‑flight champagne was already a lovely touch, but someone in our group had a birthday, and they arranged for a cake to be delivered right on site. What really stayed with me is how flawless the entire operation was. Watching the coordination between the pilot and the chaser vehicles during landing was genuinely impressive — they executed it with such precision and skill. Huge admiration for the skill, planning, and teamwork behind the scenes. Yes, it does cost a bit — but this is truly an experience of a lifetime. There is nowhere else on earth where you’ll find yourself floating among 187 other balloons at sunrise.

Excellent experience, the information before the flight were clear and everything was well organised. The car was perfectly on time to pick us up. The breakfast provided was nice with fresh fruits and coffee. We flew with Mehmet, excellent pilot the flight was smooth and great, we saw all Cappadocia sites the altitude was ideal for the best view and pictures. Overall great experience and a must do in Cappadocia.
