Canyoning on Cetina River Adventure from Split or Zadvarje

Amazing trip! The guides are local, knowledgeable and patient with kids. It was the highlight of our visit to Croatia.

The extremely adventurous tour was super organized and our family of five liked it very much. The two very friendly and competent guides, Rocko and Darijan, took great care of our kids and the group and always kept an eye on everything! Many thanks for that! The canyon offers good opportunities for sliding, climbing, and great jumps. The water was wonderful and refreshing. To finish, the optional 9-meter jump was a real thrill. We would book this absolutely reasonably priced tour again anytime! Thank you very much

Superb experience with guides Luka and Elizabeta, who were very patient, great discoveries, and a very good group atmosphere. A few land sections that are a bit steep to take into account.

This is not for the faint of heart! If you are not up for a challenge and strenuous activity this may not be the excursion for you. However, our tour guide Elizabeth was amazing and very patient. Had a 10 year old with us and this is not recommended for this age group if they fear heights.

This is a very unique and exciting adventure. 100% rent the boots! It is a workout. Anton and Elisabeth were amazing tour guides and kept us safe the whole time. He even made sure we got back to our cruise ship on time. They know the river very well and were there to help us the entire time. We did this activity as a family of 7 with kids ages 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16. We do alot of adventures but this was a little more difficult that I thought it would be for my 8 and 10 year old. I thought it might be helpful for others for me to describe the activity a little more and how I would prepare younger kids or use this to judge if they are ready for this: 1. There is very steep climbing up and down. Many times you will hold onto a rope to help you. 2. There are times you lay on your back feet first down water rapids. Many times we would go under but you have a life jacket and pop back up. (This was what made my kids nervous but it became more fun the more we did them). 3. The jumps are optional. If you don’t want to jump there is a way around. 4. The water does have a current and it can be strong for younger ones, so sometimes the guides had my kids hold onto them to help them stay where they needed to be. Our guides kept us safe and we got to experience this unique adventure.

Canyoning on the Cetina River was easily one of the most unforgettable adventures of our honeymoon! It was thrilling, challenging, and definitely not for the faint of heart—you’ll want to be in good physical shape. Huge shoutout to our guide, Anton, who kept us safe and confidently guided us through the different currents. It pushed us outside our comfort zone… and we did it! 💪

Canyoning on the Cetina River was one of the highlights of our trip. It was an incredible day filled with unforgettable memories. From cliff jumping and waterfalls to the stunning scenery, there was always something to enjoy. The initial climb down to the river was probably the scariest part for my wife, but once we got going, it was well worth it. The route requires a reasonable level of fitness and confidence. There are sections where you need to carefully climb over rocks and lower yourself down using ropes, which can require some upper body strength and good balance. The guides were always nearby and happy to assist anyone who needed help. The guides had a dry, laid-back sense of humour that made the experience even more enjoyable, and they did a great job of keeping everyone safe while making the day fun. By the next day, it definitely felt like I'd climbed 3 km down a river—I was sore in muscles I didn't even know I had! Overall, it was an unforgettable adventure, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exciting outdoor experience.

Lots of beautiful views and cliff jumping. It was a great time with friends. Our tour guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
