The sites were beautiful to see and the tour itself was really good to see the best of Cameron Highlands, would've given 5 stars but due to some areas missed in the Intinery, the tour only took 8hours not the 10-12hrs , and even then we had some waiting in locations. Disappointed we didn't do the green view garden and avant chocolate tasting, I mentioned it to the driver as soon as he was taking me to the hotel but he didnt reply to me when I asked about it. Also at the strawberry farm when we switched drivers the new driver asked if I wanted to check oit the market next door so myself and other travellers checked out the smaller upper marker , but we were not informed that if you cross the road and walk down the road thats were the larger popular kea market is so myself and other travellers missed the main kea market as we weren't explained..so that was allttle let down. But other then those 2 disappointed things the rest was great, plantations were beautiful, we could only walk 300m of the mossy forrest not the 600m but that was not the tlurs faults as that was due to landslide but they explained after the walk when we got back we can't do the full 600m.
Thank you very much for your valuable feedback. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful scenery and overall tour. We would like to clarify a few points. Our Cameron Highlands Day Tour is normally 10–12 hours because it includes the return journey from Ipoh to Cameron Highlands (approximately 1 hour 40 minutes each way). As you were picked up and dropped off at your hotel in Cameron Highlands, your tour duration was naturally shorter, at around 8 hours. Regarding Avant Chocolate, we usually stop there on the return journey to Ipoh. Since your tour ended at your hotel in Cameron Highlands, it is quite a distance from your hotel, so it was not included in your route. We are also sorry that there was a misunderstanding regarding Kea Farm Market and that our driver did not respond when you asked about the itinerary. It is possible that he did not hear you clearly while concentrating on driving. We sincerely apologize for this and will remind our drivers to communicate more clearly with our guests in the future. Thank you once again for your feedback. It helps us improve our service, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future.
Had a great day with my partner. Andy from RGM travel picked us up at our hotel and drove us to the Cameron highlands in a very comfortable car providing us with information and photo opportunities along the way. Once at our destination we switched to a jeep and joined others to continue up the windy mountain roads to the mossy forest. Fantastic views at the top. Andy picked us up at a tea plantation where we learned about the tea making process. Andy was very informative and made the whole experience an opportunity to learn more about Ipoh and the Malay people. We recommend Andy and this experience if you are looking to see and learn more about the beautiful places in and around Ipoh.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 😊 We’re glad you had a great day exploring Cameron Highlands with Andy. It’s great to hear you enjoyed the Mossy Forest, tea plantation, and the journey along the way. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again with RGM Tour & Travel!
The driver, Stan provided an informative, interesting and enjoyable day taking us to the various sites in a timely manner. We do thank him for an excellent tour, he is definitely recommended by us. Regards Jeff
Thank you very much for your kind feedback. We are very happy to hear that you had an enjoyable tour and that Stan provided a great experience during the trip. Your recommendation means a lot to us and will definitely encourage our team to continue providing the best service. We hope to welcome you again on another tour in the future.
If you are looking for historical tour and glimpse of colonial life, you will get a little glimpse. Cameron Highlands are over developed with huge hotels and vast areas of poly tunnels. Lunch at golf club was good and restful setting. If you are looking for a tour of retails opportunities, then you will enjoy this car tour of garden centres and markets. The tea plantation was restful and interesting and did offer some history. Suggest bringing a guide book with you if you want to learn more about this area.
Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your experience. Cameron Highlands has developed a lot over the years, but it still offers beautiful tea plantations, nature, and a glimpse of its colonial history. We’re glad you enjoyed the lunch at the golf club and the relaxing tea plantation visit. Your suggestion about bringing a guidebook is also very helpful for future travelers who want to learn more about the area. We truly appreciate your review and hope to welcome you again in the future.
We had a wonderful tour with our private guide Nesh. He gave us a lot of exciting information and we had a lot of fun with him. We can recommend the tour 100%!
We have been on the tour yesterday with Nash. He was such a nice and helpful person who showed us the real Malaysia and Cameron Highlands and what this is all about. We went there early and had great conversations while driving. We saw stunning tea plantations and had a fantastic lunch. We also had time as a couple to experience everything in the time that we wanted. He also asked us to tell him, if we want to skip something which was no problem (we skipped the cactus farm). Instead he showed us at a market, which tropical fruits are growing in the highlands and how to eat them, told us about the malayan culture and had for every question an answer. This is no "standard" tourist trip to the highlands but instead a tour that lets you experience the "real" Malaysia and Cameron Highlands. Although visiting the fruit markets and taste the different fruits, was not part of the trip, Nash was very open minded to show us everything there because we wanted to know that and he was happy to share his knowledge. We would definitely recommend this trip, it was fantastic and with Nash as our guide, it was even better!
Thank you so much for your lovely feedback! 😊 We’re truly happy to hear you had such a memorable experience in Cameron Highlands with Nash. Your kind words mean a lot to us, and we’re glad he could show you the “real” Malaysia and make the tour special for you as a couple. Hope to welcome you again on your next trip!
Very touristy, but driver and excursion were still very nice. You just can't expect an 'off-road' experience or deserted nature/photo spots.
Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the driver and the tour. We truly appreciate your comments and will take them into consideration for future improvements.
good tour of cameron highlands and surrounds! our tour guide nash was great and went above and beyond. he took us to lots of different places throughout the day. he also noticed the little things (such as when we were discussing the beautiful view and he stopped the car so we could get out to take pictures, or when we said we’d never tried rambutans and he brought back a whole bag for us to try!). tour itinerary + lunch spot is also easily able to changed based on your preferences which is great! the roads to cameron highlands are VERY windy (keep in mind in case you get motion sickness) and can be difficult to drive through so this tour is mainly paying for a guide to take up into the mountains safety 😊 some spots on the itinerary were a little run down and probably not worth a visit (rose and orchid garden, lavender fields, cactus park etc). and also these activities still require you to pay entrance fees (not included in your purchase of this tour) so could be an extra MYR60-100 per person depending on where you go. but the tea plantations are definitely worth a visit and have great teh tarik! there also lots of pretty places to stop along the way in the highlands and get pictures too! overall i’d recommend this tour and encourage you to be vocal if there are parts you’d like to change 😊 thanks RGM Tours!
Thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review! We’re really happy to hear that you enjoyed your Cameron Highlands tour and that Nash went above and beyond to make your day special — he’ll be very grateful for your kind words. We truly appreciate you highlighting the flexibility of the itinerary and lunch arrangements, as well as the importance of having an experienced driver on the winding mountain roads for a safe and comfortable journey. Thank you also for your honest feedback regarding some of the attractions and entrance fees. Your comments are very helpful, and we always encourage future guests to customize the itinerary based on their interests, just as you mentioned. We’re glad the tea plantations, scenery, and local experiences like teh tarik left a great impression. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you again in Malaysia in the future! 😊
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our excursion with Nash from Ipoh to the Cameron Highlands was absolutely fantastic — mainly because it turned out completely different from the standard program. Nash picked us up earlier than scheduled to avoid traffic, which we really appreciated. The last thing we wanted was to be stuck in traffic, and this thoughtful decision made the journey relaxed from the very start. On the way to the Cameron Highlands, Nash shared a huge amount of information about Malaysia, its history, cultures, traditions, and everyday life. His knowledge is impressive, and his storytelling made the long drive fly by. After visiting the Cameron Highlands, we went to a garden center with animals. While it was nice, it wasn’t really our thing. What made this trip truly special was that Nash immediately listened to our preferences and together we decided to completely change the rest of the program. The result was unforgettable: we drove along narrow mountain roads to some of the most beautiful, unique, and breathtaking places we have seen during our trip. As a big surprise, we visited two stunning temples, far away from the crowds. No busy markets (which we’ve already seen plenty of), no touristy farms or strawberry plantations that feel like a step back in time — but instead authentic, peaceful locations that felt truly special. Throughout the day, Nash continuously adjusted the itinerary to match our wishes, always suggesting places that might suit us even better. His deep knowledge of the country, culture, history, wildlife, and surroundings really sets him apart. Most importantly, he genuinely listens and cares about creating the best possible experience. A big thank you to Nash for an unforgettable day — this was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Malaysia. Highly recommended!
