Camel Ride in the Canyon and Thrilling Water Slides and Snacks

Description
Camels are one of the friendliest and most loving animals you will ever meet. Some of our camels are young and are specially trained to be ridden by kids, making this experience the best choice for families vacationing in Los Cabos looking for kid-friendly activities to enjoy with the entire family. Camel Quest takes you on a journey through the El Tule oasis located at the bottom of our canyon, where vegetation grows lush and green. After your ride, you will also meet other animals, such as cute lovebirds, colorful macaws and gentle turtles. Afterwards, enjoy a refreshing drink and yummy snack at our restaurant Lion's Den. Make a splash in the water-slides or relax in a hammock while you delight in the beautiful natural scenery of Baja.

Excellent customer service. I forgot my backpack in their locker and they drove it back to the Hyatt Ziva for me. Angel and his team with the camel ride was great, you get a 20 min camel ride which is enough in the hot weather. Cost $30 if you bring your own go pro but we were able to take photos with the camel after the ride with over with our iPhone . The bird and rabbit interaction was fun and in the shade. I’m really pleased that they were able to drive my backpack to my hotel , thank you!
Miss representation hidden fees and very bad experience unfortunately.Would not recommend booking with Tripadvisor .
What a fun experience, getting to ride a camel, then having a camel kiss you! A wonderful place having an animal sanctuary for rescued animals. Truly a once in a lifetime adventure.
We had to pay additional fees on site. May be cheaper to book directly. Francisco and Miguel did a great job explaining the animals and their habitats. They were both very patient and funny. Our adventure came with a “light” snack. It was a full meal and was delicious! The park is beautiful and well maintained. We will be back.
Amazing experience with the family! We went as a group of 5 that included and elderly person and a smaller child with autism. All staff was very friendly and patient with our family. The camel ride was amazing and the photographer captured the moments beautifully! The photo package was worth every penny. The animal sanctuary was the highlight for my pre-teen daughter who enjoyed petting ducks and rabbits and holding turtles and guinea pigs. My husband really enjoyed the exotic birds. Lunch was a delicious extra large quesadilla! Yum!
I want to thank Angel, Victor, Jesus, and Bell. we had a fun time, and Sarita, the camel was funny. Thank you so much for having us Wild Canyon. It was a fun experience.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! We’re so happy to hear you had a fun time with Angel, Victor, Jesus, and Bell — and that Sarita, our funny camel, made you laugh. Miguel, Jose, and Victor was amazing. They took great care of the kids and was really down to earth. Answered all our questions.
We booked a Camel ride along with the UTV tour. When we finish the terrible UTV tour, that was less than 8 miles in a worn out vehicle in ‘limp mode’. We sat and waited almost an hour for someone to come pick us up to go on the camel ride. When they finally got us to the camels, we had 15 minutes before we had to be back so our transportation could pick us up. We had 10 people, and they did not have enough camels, so we had to go in shifts. When we got back, we wanted to buy drinks for the ride home. We were told they were closed and we could go to the restaurant to buy something. But they were more than happy to try to sell us the pictures that their photographer took. The camel ride was six minutes, 0.2 miles in the back by the stables. They tell you you can’t take your phone because it’s for your safety. The reality is that they don’t want you to be able to take photos because they want to sell their photos. This was a total rip off.
Just enjoy. Bring towel and water bottle. If you have ATV or UTV trip - get something to cover face, or you can purchase it in gift shop at the park. Gets dusty during the road trip. Otherwise it is pure fun all around. Employees are very friendly and professional.
The camel ride was pretty silly. We appreciate the guides and the park, but getting on the camels and walking down a gravel path for 5 minutes before the handler turned it around to walk back the other way was certainly not worth $400! Visiting with the animals and having the amazing guide, Angel, let us feed and play with them made us glad we came though. He was super knowledgeable and fun and didn’t remind us like the other guides how important tips were! If you have cash and time to burn go for this experience. If either of those resources are limited, you are not missing out!
