A special mention goes to Mamsour, our tour guide for the day, who was amazing. He could not do enough for anyone in the group and made sure everyone was looked after throughout the entire trip. His knowledge, friendliness, and enthusiasm really made the day extra special. Cairo itself was incredible. Visiting the Mosque and the Coptic Church was fascinating, and both the museum and the Nile boat trip were fantastic experiences. However, the highlight of the day was definitely the camel ride around the Pyramids — something we will remember forever! Very value for money. We were picked up at Makadi at 01:00 at night and were home again at 01:00, so the trip takes longer than indicated. The bus ride is long, but it's a fantastic experience and our English guide was really good. We first booked a trip, which we unfortunately had to cancel 30 minutes before pickup, because our daughter fell ill. After that I contacted the company, just to ask if they could make a good price for our next trip, but they never answered, which didn’t feel like the best customer service. But when the money was paid there was nice communication.

This turned out to be a 24 hour round trip with about 1 hour at the pyramids. This element was hugely disappointing. I found the trip was tailored around upselling, with trips to a perfume shop and a spice shop where there was a presentation. There was far to much sitting around, which mate it even worse when we were ushered away from the pyramids so quickly to go and sit on the bus, then sit in a spice presentation before sitting on the bus again.. The museum was also disappointing with the tour guide showing us so little in the museum. The food was good, but the drinks were marked up 150%. If you want to briefly see the pyramids and are olds with not really learning anything when you are there and are happy to have a full 24 hours away from your hotel then this trip is well priced but please do not expect to be blown away. It’s a whistle stop tour. And take a good book for all the time you are sat on the bus. I am so happy I didn’t pay through the nose for this trip.

This excursion is a full-day coach trip from Hurghada to Cairo, and the journey duration is clearly stated in the tour description before booking. Your pickup was at approximately 2:00 AM,the last hotel for picking up and you returned to your hotel around 10:30 PM - the frist hotel in back, exactly as scheduled for this type of excursion. Regarding the itinerary, all included visits, optional stops, and shopping presentations are communicated in advance in the confirmation email sent before the tour. These stops are a standard part of the program and are not added unexpectedly on the day of the trip. As for the Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum, the tour is designed to allow guests to experience Cairo's most famous highlights within a single day while traveling over 900 km round trip. Because of the travel distance and Cairo's traffic conditions, it is not possible to spend several hours at each attraction. The schedule is carefully planned so that guests can visit the Pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, enjoy lunch, and return safely to Hurghada on the same day. The prices of drinks at the restaurant are set entirely by the restaurant itself and are not controlled by our company or the tour operator. We understand that some travelers prefer a slower, more in-depth visit to Cairo. In that case, we would recommend a private tour or an overnight Cairo program, which allows significantly more time at each attraction and a more flexible itinerary. Lovely day in general. Good guide and beautiful places! Why 4 out of 5? I would have appreciated a little bit more time at the museum (30min free time) The rest was great, good and comfy bus, very helpful guide with a ton of explanations and info about Egyptian history. We learned a lot from him! The restaurant at noon was delicious. The trip to the pyramids is wonderful and well organized. We did some perfume and spice stores which were nice but unfortunately not the papyrus factory. To bad but all and all a great and wonderful day!

The experience was great. We explored Cairo, visited the pyramids, learnt about the essences and spices used in Egypt. Our tour guide was also amazing and was happy to answer any questions we had. No respect for people, visiting the Giza site in 30-40 minutes, no possibility to get close to the Sphinx: however, they took their time for Benoist to do useless activities: -trip that lasted 25 hours (including 3 hours of pickup at various hotels) -waste of time in optional (paid) activities - no more time for what we came for: to contemplate the pyramids: we had to hurry - a person who handles logistics is extremely unpleasant Do not waste your time with this travel agency, which prefers that you get ripped off in optional activities rather than taking the time for what you endure 10 hours on a bus: goodbye and NEVER again

Étant donné qu'il s'agit d'un aller-retour entre Hurghada et Le Caire en une seule journée, représentant environ 1 000 km, une bonne gestion du temps est indispensable afin que tous les participants puissent visiter les principaux sites historiques et rentrer à Hurghada en toute sécurité le même jour. - La durée de la prise en charge dépend de l'emplacement des différents hôtels participants, ce qui est tout à fait normal pour une excursion en groupe. Cela permet aux voyageurs séjournant dans différents hôtels de participer à la même excursion. - La visite du Grand Sphinx est bien incluse dans le programme. Toutefois, si des restrictions temporaires, une forte affluence ou des consignes des autorités touristiques limitent l'accès ou modifient le temps de visite, cela est malheureusement indépendant de la volonté de toute agence de voyage. - Nous rejetons catégoriquement l'affirmation selon laquelle les participants seraient contraints de participer aux activités optionnelles. Celles-ci sont uniquement proposées à ceux qui souhaitent y prendre part. Les autres voyageurs sont libres de ne pas y participer, sans aucune obligation. Nous regrettons que vous ayez eu le sentiment d'être pressé. Néanmoins, visiter les principaux sites du Caire en une seule journée nécessite un programme bien organisé afin que chaque participant puisse profiter des points forts de l'excursion. Our excursion to Cairo was very disappointing on several points. First of all, the organization of the transportation needs to be reviewed. We had to change buses three times and spent 3 hours 30 minutes waiting in a parking lot in Hurghada, without explanation in the middle of the night. Regarding the paid options, they are practically forced upon you. If you choose not to take them, you simply have to wait on the bus without any activity, which was not specified. The visit to the Cairo Museum was much too fast. We had about 20 minutes of explanations with the guide, then only about ten minutes on our own. It is impossible to enjoy the museum or discover the collections at this pace. We strongly advise against paying for the extra option to visit the Grand Museum. In practice, the schedule does not allow for going there, because the sites close between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. The excursion advertises about 1 hour 30 minutes at each site, but in reality we only stayed 40 minutes at the museum, 45 minutes at the pyramids, and 30 minutes at the Sphinx. The program is therefore very far from what is advertised. On the other hand, the visit to the papyrus shop was a pleasant surprise. The explanations were interesting, the demonstration was high-quality, and no one forced us to buy anything. Finally, the pyramids are magnificent and live up to their reputation. However, the site is unfortunately marked by heavy exploitation of animals. It is difficult not to be shocked by the condition of some camels and horses, which bear whip or iron marks and remain exposed to the full sun all day long. This clearly tarnished our experience. In summary, despite the exceptional beauty of the pyramids, the poor organization, the lack of time at the sites, and certain aspects of the excursion do not, in our opinion, justify the price paid.

Le déroulement de la journée dépend de nombreux facteurs tels que la circulation au Caire, les contrôles de sécurité, les files d'attente aux entrées des sites et l'affluence touristique. Notre priorité reste de permettre à tous les participants de visiter les principaux monuments dans les meilleures conditions possibles tout en respectant les horaires de retour. Nous sommes toutefois heureux de lire que vous avez apprécié les explications dans l'atelier de papyrus ainsi que la beauté exceptionnelle des pyramides, qui restent l'un des plus grands trésors du patrimoine mondial. Concernant le bien-être des animaux présents sur le plateau de Gizeh, nous partageons votre sensibilité sur ce sujet.
