We'll begin our culinary adventure in the heart of Cagliari, where we’ll meet and take a stroll to a charming local bakery. Here, we’ll sample a selection of the region’s finest pastries and desserts, each one bursting with traditional flavors. Whether you choose to indulge on the spot or take some treats for later, you’re in for a sweet experience.
Next, we’ll head to a cozy bistrot or a gourmet shop, where we’ll savor an assortment of Sardinian charcuterie. Paired with a glass of exquisite regional wine, this stop offers a perfect taste of the island’s rich culinary heritage.
Our journey continues with a visit to a traditional Sardinian restaurant, where we’ll enjoy a delicious local first course. This dish showcases the finest ingredients and recipes of Sardinia, allowing us to experience the authentic flavors of the island in a welcoming, historic setting.
As we continue through the city, we’ll stop to bite into this iconic flaky pizza, topped with rich tomato and melted cheese. A favorite locals grow up eating during school breaks and seaside strolls, it’s a beloved street food found in bakeries and bars all over Cagliari—easy to carry, wonderfully fragrant, and almost impossible to stop at just one.
Finally, we’ll unwind with a classic Sardinian coffee at a historic café, the perfect sweet and aromatic ending to our culinary journey through the city.

Fabulous food tour in every way! Enrico was an amazing guide and took the time to teach us about the rich history of Cagliari, as we ate our way through the city. We really loved Enrico’s energy, knowledge, and genuine passion! He even stayed out with us for a little while after the tour ended bc it honestly felt like we were all friends by the end! 5 stars all around!!
Great tour with Bjorn, who is very knowledgeable about the city, island and its culture. there were plenty of food, we could not eat all of it. recommend to anyone, who would like to explore local cuisine.

Cagliari was our last stop on a two week vacation and this tour was by far the highlight! With only a couple days to see the city my fiancé and I decided to book this walking food tour. First things first, our guide, Francesca, was AMAZING. She was fun, knowledgeable, easy to follow, and truly knows the city and the best places to eat. She was greeted warmly at every restaurant we visited. We also did not have one bad meal!! We left extremely happy, full, and were able to see a good amount of the city, eat at family owned businesses, and get insider knowledge of Sardinian culture. We highly, highly recommend this tour AND Francesca! Advice? Make sure to come hungry and ready to try anything and everything! We will definitely be back.

This was one of our favorite nights of our visit to Sardinia. Not only did we enjoy lots of local delicacies, but Bjorn had excellent knowledge of Cagliari history as we walked. He was an ex excellent guide! Highly recommended.
