Stand-up paddle boarding offers one of the most immersive ways to experience Land's End because the elevated position provides a wider field of view than many other water activities. From a paddle board, it is possible to appreciate both the dramatic granite formations above and the changing colors and underwater features below. The coastline surrounding the Arch and Pelican Rock has been shaped by millions of years of geological activity, while the rocky reef habitats beneath the surface help support the marine ecosystems that make the Sea of Cortez internationally recognized for its biodiversity. Combining paddle boarding and snorkeling creates a unique opportunity to experience both environments in a single adventure.

Pickup Locations & Times
• Complimentary round-trip transportation is available from hotels in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, and the Tourist Corridor • If your hotel is not listed, feel free to contact us so we can check transportation availability for your area • Guests arriving with their own vehicle may meet at Plaza Gali OXXO or directly at Playa Empacadora, where the experience begins from the beach • Hotels outside the main tourist area, including Hard Rock, Nobu, Rancho San Lucas, Diamante, or Four Seasons, are not included in complimentary transportation and will meet at Plaza Gali OXXO in Cabo San Lucas • Cruise guests will also meet at Plaza Gali OXXO, approximately 3–5 minutes walking from the marina exit. Detailed walking directions will be provided with your confirmation message • Cabo San Lucas cruise arrivals operate using tender boats, which may take additional time depending on port operations. We strongly recommend taking the earliest tender available or booking priority tender service whenever possible • Guests who miss transportation or arrive late must arrive directly at Playa Empacadora before the activity start time at their own expense

- Maximum waiting time after scheduled meeting or pick-up time is 5 minutes
- Cut-off times are based on local experience time
- No boats are used — the experience begins directly from the beach
- Wetsuits available upon request during winter months in XL, LG, M, and SM
- Paddle boarding requires balance, moderate physical activity, and comfort in the water
- Morning departures are usually recommended for calmer waters and lighter boat traffic
- Wind and ocean conditions may occasionally prevent access to the Arch area. If this happens, the experience continues around Land’s End with scenic paddling, coastline exploration, and additional snorkeling time. Partial refunds are not provided for ocean-condition route adjustments
- This experience requires favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to unsafe weather, ocean conditions, or operational restrictions, guests will be offered an alternative date or full refund
- No locker facilities are available, but belongings may usually remain inside the transportation vehicle during the activity
- Not recommended for travelers with back problems, pregnancy, or serious heart conditions
- Participants under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not allowed
- Medical refund requests require an official same-day doctor’s certificate and prior notification before activity start time

One of the best parts of exploring Land’s End by paddleboard is getting to experience Cabo San Lucas from the water at a slower pace — the rock formations, hidden beaches, marine life, and the colors of the Sea of Cortez all feel completely different when you’re out there paddling alongside the coastline. Having a guide who knows the area well and keeps the experience fun, relaxed, and personal makes a huge difference, and José Luis is excellent at exactly that. We also love hearing that he helped capture photos from the adventure. Those moments around the Arch, Lovers Beach, and the granite cliffs of Los Cabos usually become some of people’s favorite memories from their trip. Hugo was the best! It was an awesome tour at a doable pace. He got some great pics of us and shared before we were dropped back off at our hotel. Hugo was an excellent guide! Would highly recommend this activity to get you away from the resorts for a few hours to see some beautiful sights and get some exercise.

Amazing tour with Javi and Pedro! They took us out to the arch safely and efficiently. It was a beautiful trip with lots of different fish and sea lions to see. They made everything very easy and comfortable. Definitely would recommend!
