Group boat ride around the beaches in Cabo! Organized well.
We had so much fun. We got to see the arch, the animals, and spend time at the beach. Make sure you bring food.
The boat ride, driver and guide were great!! I also loved the beach we went on. Though please be careful once on beach about getting scammed for drinks and umbrella. We ended up paying for an umbrella to sit under ($20) though he was trying to charge $35 to person next to us. (no idea we had to pay for umbrella use for 1 hour which is ridiculous), the guy wanted to change us even more for tips and drinks. We declined and he was rude. Be careful of getting scammed on one of the beaches by the workers!!!
Communication between the tour company and the boat operators could have been better. Our group of 15 had booked a tour and unfortunately were informed (only when prompted) at the very end of the boat tour that we were not going to be able to stop at any of the beaches due to the waters being too choppy and unsafe. I’m not upset that conditions were not ideal as that is out of everyone’s hands; however, had the tour organizer and boat operator communicated about the dangerous conditions, then a discussion could’ve been had about potentially rescheduling the tour for the following day. Instead, as we were heading back to the docks, we stopped by two of the beaches that were pointed out earlier to pick up different patrons. Only then was I inclined to inquire about whether we would be able to visit at least one beach and the response was no. So essentially, we just sat on a boat as the operator just pointed out the different beaches from afar and returned back to shore without ever touching the ocean water. It was a waste of our precious vacation time and money in which alternative options could have at least been discussed.
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Guest safety is always our top priority, and beach access is determined by the Port Authority and sea conditions on the day of the tour. We understand your disappointment and agree that better communication regarding the conditions and available options would have been helpful. Your feedback will be shared with our team so we can improve communication in situations where weather impacts the planned itinerary. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. — Boat Trips Club Team
The price was reasonable, and the staff was friendly. My only suggestion is to make the meeting location easier to find with a larger sign or a more visible meeting point. We couldn’t go to Lover’s Beach, and the other beaches were too crowded, so we ended up taking a 45-minute boat ride.
Thank you for your review! We're glad to hear you found the tour reasonably priced and our staff friendly. We appreciate your suggestion regarding the meeting point and will share it with our team to make it easier for future guests to locate. We're also sorry that sea conditions prevented access to Lover's Beach. Guest safety is always our top priority, and when conditions are unsafe, we must adjust the itinerary accordingly. Thank you for your valuable feedback. — Boat Trips Club Team
They tell you to be 30 minutes early and they weren’t there. We stood in the sweltering heat for 45 minutes waiting to leave. The guy that showed up late was rude and didn’t tell us anything. Then they said it was 45 minutes. We said we bought swim-time at Lover’s Beach. They said the “beach closes” at 3 so they would take us to balcony beach for 30 minutes; only because we asked. When you get to the beach men came and gathered our stuff, we assumed they were with our trip-they weren’t, they wanted additional money to give us an umbrella and watch our things. Everyone wanted tips. It was uncomfortable.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Access to Lover's Beach is determined by the Port Authority and sea conditions, and when it is closed for safety reasons, we provide Pelican Beach as an alternative whenever possible. We also understand your concerns regarding the wait time and communication, and we'll share your feedback with our local team to improve the guest experience. Please note that the individuals offering umbrellas and other beach services are independent vendors and are not affiliated with our tour. We appreciate your comments and will continue working to improve our service. — Boat Trips Club Team
Well worth it, we debated between this and a glass bottom boat. This was a better experience for us because we got to see the arch and hang by the beach.
It was confusing knowing exactly where to meet the tour guide, especially with all the swarming of other vendors at the marina. Once we did, the boat load and tour was great, although there is no warning up front that pictures will be required and then sold to you later. The beach dropoff was very wet but I don’t see an alternative. They arrived for pickup right when they said they would.
They told us that Lovers beach is closed even there were another tourists on the beach. It is not fair to promote Lovers beach and after that you cancelled it. Instead of that we were one hour on overcrowded Pelican beach.
Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. Access to Lover's Beach is determined by the Port Authority and sea conditions on the day of the tour. When conditions are unsafe, boats are not permitted to land there, even if the beach may appear accessible from a distance or other vessels are nearby. In such cases, Pelican Beach is used as the safe alternative to ensure our guests' safety. We appreciate your understanding, as guest safety will always remain our top priority. — Boat Trips Club Team
Great experience! We did miss our scheduled time due to slow tendering from the cruise ship but they accommodated us on the next tour which was roughly 50 minutes later. We spent that time eating at the pier and then returning to the meeting spot. Once there we were lined up and led to a boat where we toured to the arch. During the tour there was a large rock formation that people were climbing and jumping from. Other guests on our tour asked if we could stop to also jump and the captain said yes. This was truly a once in a lifetime experience. Unfortunately, Lover's Beach and the surrounding beaches were deemed not safe to disembark due to high waves but it did not negatively impact the tour.
