Côtes du Rhône Wine tour: Avignon, Palace of the Popes
Description
We will walk through the streets of the old town of Avignon and we will visit the Palais des Papes through the famous bridge of Avignon. After the visit of the old town, we will go to Les Halles (covered market) and we will have our lunch break. After a good meal, we will continue our tour to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a small village of Côtes du Rhone to live the experience of a tasting in the cellar and different areas on the road.

Was on an MSC cruise (World Europa) and this was an excursion (£95pp) well worth it, tour guide was French - very knowledgeable had lots of time then we drove to Aix Province - a full day 08.30am to 16.30pm
