Oure driver Ishan was able to handle even difficould situations with the travel group and satisfy the wishes of evrybody. We had a nice driving experience and were able to watch many fantastic animals of the Yala Nationalpark. Under them Elephants and even a leopard. Ishan ore tour guide was not only experienced in the area and knew how to coordinate the safari in a way were we saw many animals while also not staying in the bigger groups of Trucks, he also knew much abaout the local flora and fauna and had usefull informaitions to all the animals we have seen.
The safari itself was amazing. The driver, Naja, knew a lot about the animals and where the would be. We saw 5 leopards that day!!! The lunch was also amazing, so overall an unforgettable experience!
Stunning national park with far less visitors. Ajith actually came with us and drove for our safari, he is lovely and a real genuine person. He sorted a fantastic guide for bundala as it’s all about the birds. The guide was excellent in spotting everything as he had worked there for 20yrs. Stunning sunrise over the lake in the morning and a brilliant 4 hour tour, even saw 2 elephants here.
Easy to book online at late notice, with pickup from hotel. Knowledgeable guide and driver, and customised jeeps for a good view. We saw a huge variety of wetland birds as well as elephants, monitors, deer and monkeys. Highly recommended.
Wonderful day - excellent guide Ishan who identified all birds- great at spotting birds and other animals- very knowledgeable. 10/10 Thanks very much to Ishan our guide
Brilliant half day tour with Kasun to Bundala. Picked up on time in a great vehicle..my wife and I had it to ourselves. Kasun was really knowledgeable about all the wildlife and managed to find so many birds and animals. He was a great driver and a pleasure to be with. Thoroughly recommended...great value too!
We enjoyed 4 full hours of morning birdwatching(Iguana ,langurs ,macaques and croco also) with our guide /chauffeur Bilan who had very good skills spotting birds . Booked just on the previous evening with instant response on WhatsApp. Recommended for Bundala NP
Very professional, as you’d expect from the price. $60 for our afternoon safari into Bundala National Park, with excellent driver Dilan, who also turned out to be a knowledgable birder and wildlife guide. We picked up our obligatory park guide (the charming and super-expert Kapila in our case) and told him we wanted to see lots of birds, not just charge around looking for elephants and crocs. True to his word, we wasted no time observing and identifying dozens of wetland birds (and others). We visited the obligatory stunning cliff overlooking the windy seashore, then over salt pans looking for more birds, and on our gentle return towards the gate, spotted 2 groups of elephants, which few people had seen in recent weeks and months. Just made it out of the park before it closed, happy and exhilarated. An almost flawless experience
It was a very pleasant experience for me ! It was a rainy day and there were just a few tourists in 4x4 in the Park. Thanks to Dilan, I felt so closed with the animals. With confort and security when he was driving. He knows see the animals and he can give you explications on their life ! He takes the time to stay near the animals if you want. He likes share with the people. I will remember long time of this moments with this birds, crocodiles, monkeys and turtles ! Thank you Dilan !
A wonderful experience with ajith safaris. We knew what to expect from this park going in and we weren't disappointed. If you want to appreciate the lesser known animals of sri lanka then this is the place for you. Very few jeeps made us feel like we had the place to ourselves. We were super lucky with seeing a crocodile attack a stork, fish Eagle with a catch and a dung beetle rolling a ball of dung!. Thank you Kasun for being the vest driver for the entirety of our stay.
