Great experience with guide ms Guli. She was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great way to spend the day enjoying old Bukhara.
Excellent tour of the beautiful city of Bukhara thanks to our lovely Italian guide, Ferangiz. She is kind, with lots of knowledge and made the experience just perfect. Grazie Ferangiz!
In my short stay in Bukhara, I was very fortunate to have Guide Guli as my tour guide. She is very knowledgeable, articulate, gracious and thoughtful. She brought an umbrella to protect me from the hot sun. She spent 2 extra hours to take me to the bazaar so I could look for and buy all the gifts I wanted to buy. Guide Guli radiated warmth, knowledge, and passion for her city. She doesn’t just recite facts -- she tells the living story of Bukhara, weaving together history, architecture, culture, and humor with an effortless grace. Her English is impeccable and her energy is contagious, She brought all the landmarks (the Ark, the Po-i-Kalyan complex, etc.) to life in a way no guidebook ever could. She also introduced me to hidden gems and local artisans I would have never found on my own. She has a rare gift as she makes you feel like an honored guest, not just a tourist. Guide Guli is the heart of Bukhara wrapped in a beautiful smile. Of all the cities in the world I have traveled to, and of all the tour guides I have had in those cities, I could state categorially that nobody else matched Guide Guli.
Sunny was an incredible guide! She was very knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions. She had a beautiful calming energy and was super generous - helping us get cash out and even buying us a delicious lunch. Had an amazing time and would highly highly recommend to anyone wanting to understand the history of Bukhara and get a better grasp of the city.
Tour Operator was a NO SHOW As stated in title. We booked. Paid $175. Next morning we took a taxi to the designated pick up site. Waited. And waited. Called the phone number listed on the confirmation email. We waited half an hour in the heat. Never showed up. We decided to do the tour ourselves. We took the locations listed and went on our own. Honestly it was easy to do so and ended up saving us $170 + tip so probably some $200 in all. They did eventually contact us late afternoon (pick up was supposed to be 9am sharp). They asked if they could send a guide to our hotel at 4pm for a 5-7 hour tour. We declined. After some back and forth they did refund our money. I would avoid this company. Two stars because they did eventually refund our money.
Dear Jae Lee, Thank you very much for your detailed feedback. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused. Due to certain unforeseen circumstances, we unfortunately missed your tour, and we sincerely regret that this happened. Please accept our deepest apologies on behalf of our entire company — this is never the kind of experience we wish for our valued guests. We highly appreciate your understanding and patience, and we will do our utmost to ensure such situations do not occur again in the future.
Good care for 2 people. Individuell ! We were picked up by arrangement at the hotel and visited all the indicated sights together. It remains an unforgettable tour at 31 degrees Celsius.
Magical city! The Bukhara tour offers an immersive dive into its ancient mosques, bazaars, and stunning silk road history. Friendly guide with a wealth of knowledge.
Extremely kind and knowledgeable guide with great picture spots and guide did not overdue souvenir locations. Would gladly refer others to this guide. We had a very limited time in Bukhara and our time was well spent on this tour.
Our guide met us on time & our tour began. We learned alot about the Uzi people & culture as well as history. We visited many sites throughout the day , at the end our guide left us in a square area ( instead of taking us back to our hotel as per tour guidelines) it's not that we were lost - this situation ended the tour abruptly- not good.
Maksad is an amazing guide, very knowledgable and skilled and made Bukhara come alive for us. She was also accommodating when we needed a break and we enjoyed our day with her. Highly recommend for tourists to get the most out of your trip. Once you have a sense of history, you can always go back to to some of these sites and explore them.
