We had a great experience exploring the neighborhood, and visiting two restaurants for empanadas and fabulous steak - along with making three other stops for churros, chocolate and a lesson on mate as a ritual beverage. Our guide Martin was knowledgeable, attentive - and patient too: we were a small group, but curious about the neighborhood. We peppered Martin with questions about what we saw as well what we tasted!
Thank you for your kind words, we really value them. We’re glad our guide and the food worked so well together. We’d love to have you back on another Secret Food Tours!

We had a great afternoon with our guide, Lucy. She was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed her explanations of each dish we tried. I loved the Choripán and could have eaten more but it was a good job I didn’t because the rest of the things we tried were delicious too.
What a great note to receive. When guests walk away remembering both the flavors and the feel of the neighborhood, that tells us the balance worked. You’re always welcome back on Secret Food Tours!
