Make the most of your arrival or departure with this scenic introduction to Buenos Aires, often called the “Paris of South America.” Turn your transfer into an experience as you explore the city’s most iconic neighborhoods and landmarks. Discover the vibrant colors of La Boca and Caminito Street, stroll through the elegant Recoleta district, and drive along 9 de Julio Avenue—one of the widest boulevards in the world. Along the way, enjoy a perfect blend of history, culture and local charm. This program includes approximately 1 hour of transfer time between the airport and the city, combined with a 4-hour guided sightseeing tour, ending at the Buenos Aires Cruise Terminal. The tour can also operate in reverse, starting at the cruise terminal and finishing at the airport. Total duration: approximately 5 hours.

We booked a private tour for just 3 of us, since we had many hours between arrival at the airport and our cruise ship departure. The guide was immediately identifiable at the airport, picked us up in a vehicle that had plenty of room for us and all our luggage, and took us to the sites we choose. He had recommendations, and we went to those, as well.

Our flight was delayed 10 hours causing us to miss this scheduled tour. The GET company graciously rescheduled our tour for the next day. How fortunate we were to be assigned Gabrielle as our tour guide and Christian as our driver for our private tour! Her English was impeccable, and we were astounded by her knowledge of the history and culture of Argentina as well as Buenos Aires. Her personality was vivacious and fun--making our tour so memorable. She and Christian went "beyond the call of duty" helping us communicate with a past Rotary exchange student who we were supposed to meet for dinner in Buenos Aires, the night before, when our flight was delayed. Their flexibility made it possible for us to see her for a few precious minutes. Gabrielle also took the time to send me instructions to make the drink Mate. GET Tours is fortunate to have both Gabrielle and Christian in their employ. We are grateful to them and to GET for an amazing tour of Buenos Aires. I would highly recommend this tour company!
