Budget 4-Day Nile Cruise from Aswan to Luxor

Walid is a very attentive guide from Aswan. Not only does he look after your needs, he's very knowledgeable of his city, it's history and Egyptian stories as well. Highly recommend

We were aboard the Nile Sapphire. The ship was older but had lots of character. The rooms were dated but sufficient. No complaints about the food- there was always plenty of options and very tasty. Crew were courteous and helpful. Wifi was only available in the reception area for a hefty daily price TIP: get a local SIM with data for much less. Overall the cruise was beautiful and relaxing, but our EMO tour guide, Ashraf, won our hearts and made for a memorable and highly informative family trip! We were traveling with our 10-year old daughter and Ashraf treated her like one of his own children. He engaged with her asking her questions and quizzing her, then giving her high fives when she got the answer right. He is not only highly educated in Egyptian history and culture, but he is kind hearted, patient, professional and so easy to get along with. An excellent ambassador for Egyptian hospitality! On our 4-day Nile cruise we visited sights in Aswan, Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Luxor. Ashraf was with us for the entire 4 days and provided us with tons of information about each historical sight and we never felt rushed or out of sync. Also of note, we were highly pleased with the transportation services offered by EMO including airport pick ups and transportation to various temples and sights when off the cruise ship. The vehicles were clean, comfortable and the drivers were always on time and careful while driving. Booking through EMO will make for an easy and smooth trip, and asking for the guide Ashraf will make for an all-around spectacular trip to Egypt.

The best part of the experience was our tour guide Walid! A perfect mix of humour, knowledge and professionalism. A breath of familiarity and made our cruise super relaxing and enjoyable. Cannot recommend him enough.

To describe our stay , we had the chance to stay in a boat from Assuan to Luxor for a duration of 4 days and 3 Nights. Throughout our journey we were accompanied by our guide Shukry Abdullah who was outstanding with us. This crossing was just amazing in all its aspects. The boat was very luxurious, comfortable, we lacked everything. The staff was very kind, helpful, very pleasant with us, the activities were in line with our expectations ( Visit of temples ). And how can we not also thank Choukry again our guide. It made our trip fantastic simply. Listening to our expectations, very professional, very pedagogue, who has a lot of humor, my girlfriend and I loved it. He likes to spend time with each of his students 😂 to get to know us and share his experiences a little bit. He was a real crush, our dad from Egypt haha. We look forward to seeing him again. So again thank you for all Choukry , you were exceptional 👍 I recommend power 100

We had a great experience with Emo Tours on our honeymoon in Egypt! We booked multiple tours in Aswan and finished with a 4-day Nile river cruise. Our tour guide Sam was with us throughout, and was very knowledgeable about Egyptian history. He explained the significance of every site in an interesting way and provided us with extra time to explore and take pictures by ourselves. Sam went above and beyond the entire time! We couldn’t have asked for anything more! He helped us book COVID tests before our flight home and even took us out on an unplanned trip to purchase spices one night. Thanks to Sam we have great memories from our trip to Egypt!

Our tour guide Ahmed Eid spoke both excellent English and Italian. He provided us with in-depth information on all historical sites. He knew all the best restaurants and shops and helped us with our shopping at convenient prices. He knew people at a Nubian village and showed us a characteristic spice shop where we could smell a lot of different plants and seeds. Not only did we thoroughly visit tourists’s attractions but he allowed us to mingle with the local population. 5 stars for ingenuity.

My parents and I just completed the Emo Tours 4 night 5 day cruise. The best part of the whole trip was our stellar guide, Ahmed Moatty. He was extremely well organized, an absolute gentleman, very knowledgable, and best of all patient - despite our slow walking, last minute requests and non-stop questions! He thought of everything to make our trip memorable. #1 Highlight: when he timed it down to the minute en route to Abu Simbel to have us arrive at a look out right when the sun peeked over the desert horizon. Special thanks for his above-and-beyond help changing money and sourcing out good prices for needed items.

We are a couple from India and took the Nile cruise tour with Emo Tours from aswan to Luxor. We had a very nice experience with the guide and the entire tour was managed well. The guide Emad was experienced, articulate and very helpful. He made our experience memorable and hassle free. We had very informative discussions and bonded well throughout the trip. All the locations included in aswan , Kom ombo, Edfu and Luxor were incredible. The cruise operation was a bit delayed and the cruise boat is a bit old but the magical views along the Nile made us forget about all that. I would recommend this to others. One last advice plan for tips to the drivers, boatmen etc. ahead so that you don’t fall short of cash.

I recommend this tour and Waleed as the guide. The boat is top notch, the food is probably the worst part of it. It’s nice getting a private tour guide experience for this low of a price.
