Darko, our driver, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, an excellent communicator, and made the entire experience enjoyable. Budapest was a true highlight of the trip, and both Darko and Greg, our tour guide, were outstanding throughout. Highly recommend this tour.
Thanks a million! Having you guys on board for the ride to Budapest was an absolute blast, and teaming up with Greg was pure gold. Your great energy really made the whole trip. Safe travels on your next adventures! P.S. Na geh, die dicke Abschiedsumarmung haben wir diesmal glatt vergessen! Die holen wir beim nächsten Mal nach. 😉
Darko was an amazing tour guide. Loved each stop on the way to Salzburg. Thanks for a wonderful experience
Dear Chris and Mary, I am still so happy that we managed to squeeze between some ugly weather and we did it with the style. On both of our tours. Like you said, we are family now. Take care and when you decide to visit again, give me a call…. Try not to do it in 10 years! 😉 Yours Darko
Our driver, Romano, was great! He picked us up at the entrance to our hotel in a nice, black van, and we had a lovely, safe drive to Budapest while learning about the city along the way. Our tour guide, Orshe, was waiting for us when we arrived in the “pest” side, where we started our walking tour, and then we moved over to the “Buda” side. She was an excellent guide who shared the history, many architectural details (which we never would have noticed in our own), and stories about the monuments and statutes (that we most certainly would have missed if on our own). Orshe is a delightful person, who is funny but also respectful and kind. This tour was well worth the cost for a safe, comfortable, private drive, an informative and fun tour, and free time to explore some areas on our own.
Hi again, So glad to read your review. I’m glad I’ve meet you and spend wonderful day with you and your husband. I’m glad you enjoy our tour and in my name and my colleague Orschi I can say just thank you a lot. Hope to see you soon again in Vienna Best regards Romano
Romano was a fantastic tour guide very well informed made our day trip to Budapest. Very pleasant. Gave us a lot of facts. We really enjoyed it with highly recommend him as a tour guy for any tour you take while visiting Vienna thank you, Romano.
Hello miss olga, Thank you for a wonderful day in Budapest. I’m glad your day went beyond your expectations. Tours like this and guests like you make me happy as well. Wish you nice rest of your vacations Until some next time Romano
It's a wonderful full day trip. Our driver stopped so we could get food for the road. Our city guide was very knowledgeable. Note that while Hunary is part of the European Union it's currency is not the Euro.
Our group had a wonderful time on this private trip to Budapest with Romano as the driver and Erica, our local tour guide. Both Romano and Erica were knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. We were picked up at our hotel in a luxury car (new Mercedes) and dropped off at our hotel at the end of the tour. We highly recommend Romano and Erica for anyone who wants to take a day trip to Budapest from Vienna! I would give them 10 stars if the system allows
Trip was a great overview of Budapest in a day. We hit highlights with a little bit of time to eat and explore on own. Our tour friend, Darko, shared experiences/stories, customs, cultural highlights, and restaurant suggestions about Vienna/Budapest as we chatted with him over the 2.5 hrs back and forth to Budapest. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Darko patiently answered our many questions especially from my Mom. He was a highlight and should be recognized as a real asset. He was so knowledgeable on so many topics and willing to share with us. We really enjoyed our time with him. Judit (Budapest tour guide) was great too. She was very knowledgeable and patient with us as it was a hot day and kids were a bit impatient. She gave the rt amount of detail for our crowd and we saw a variety of places in the 2 hr tour. It was nice introduction for a future trip. Highly recommend this trip!
The tour was amazing. Pedja took care of everything and was excellent. . Our guide in the city was very good and informative.
Our driver Pedja picked us up from our hotel in Vienna at 7:30am - he was terrific. On the drive to Budapest he told us about Vienna and other places in Austria. Then when we arrived in Budapest we were met by a guide and had a very nice walking tour of Pest. The only reason I give this 4/5 stars is that I would have liked more free time in Budapest. I feel that 2 hours we had were definitely not enough to discover this beautiful city - we would have liked a chance to explore both Pest and Buda sides more. We spent about 6 hours in total in the car - back to Vienna by 6:30pm.
