Winston is pleasant, low key, knowledgeable, and helpful. Kept us safe and adventurous and unified. There is a rock to jump off and a "swim alongside the boat" time if rafters choose. We had children 6-13 with us, so level 3 rapids (with the low levels this year from limited runoff) were enjoyable for the adults and a good first experience for the kids.
Mikey D and Margo were our guides and both were excellent. They were very professional, personable and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend Performance Tours.

This was our second year with Performance Tours in Brown Canyon. Everything went great. Due to less snowfall, the river was down, so it wasn’t quite as exciting as last year, but we still had a great time. Our guide, Mike S was very knowledgeable and he navigated the river well, keeping us safe and surprisingly dry. We’re both 75 and had no problems during the two hour trip. Although wet suits snd splash guards are available, we were quite comfortable in swim suits and rash guards. Unless you have very sturdy water shoes, I recommend using their booties. If you’re in the area, this is a wonderful thing to do with the family. Of the 46 rafting companies in the area, we think Performance Tours are the best!
We had an amazing time floating through Browns Canyon! Even though the snowpack was low this year and the river was running lower than normal, it actually made the trip more technical and exciting. Our guide, Grace, did an outstanding job navigating the river and kept the whole trip fun, safe, and entertaining from start to finish. Grace’s knowledge of the canyon, positive attitude, and great sense of humor made the experience even better. She turned what could have been a challenging low-water trip into one we’ll always remember. If you’re considering a rafting trip through Browns Canyon, I highly recommend it, and if you have the chance, definitely request Grace as your guide. She was fantastic!
Our family of 4 had a fantastic time on our trip. Our guide Margot was great, making sure we felt comfortable in the raft and knew what to do on her commands. She kept us safe while giving us a great experience, even with lower water levels this year. We will be sure to book again if we’re ever in the area in the future.

We just did a half day trip to Browns Canyon with Burger as our guide and it was the most amazingly fun trip ever! Our family of 6 loved every second of it and it was truly amazing!! Burger was the BEST!!!! Definitely go rafting with Performance!!!
