The Mount Coot-tha Botanic Gardens offer a lush, diverse range of plant displays. Visitors can explore themed areas like the Tropical Dome, with exotic plants, the serene Japanese Garden featuring tranquil ponds and bonsais, and the Arid Zone showcasing drought-tolerant species. The gardens also feature vibrant Australian natives and Mediterranean-inspired landscapes. With winding paths and peaceful surroundings, it's a perfect spot for a relaxing stroll or picnic amid beautiful greenery and wildlife. We will also stop for morning tea.
From the Mount Coot-tha lookout in Brisbane, visitors are treated to a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and beyond. On a clear day, you can see the Brisbane skyline stretching out to the river, with the lush greenery of the surrounding parks and suburbs. The view also includes the sparkling waters of Moreton Bay in the distance, framed by the nearby mountains and rolling hills. If you look to the west, you can see the beautiful mountain ranges that stretch out across the horizon. From the top of Kangaroo Point Cliffs, visitors are treated to a stunning view of Brisbane’s cityscape. The cliffs offer a breathtaking vantage point over the Brisbane River, with the city’s skyline stretching across the horizon.
The Brisbane Powerhouse is a vibrant cultural hub located along the Brisbane River. Housed in a repurposed 1920s power station, it hosts a variety of arts events, including theater performances, live music, comedy shows, and visual arts exhibitions. With its striking industrial architecture and scenic river views, the venue has become a popular destination for both locals and visitors, offering a mix of creative events and a lively atmosphere.
At New Farm Park, visitors will see a beautifully maintained blend of open green spaces, mature trees, and vibrant flower gardens. The park offers sweeping views of the Brisbane River, with the iconic Story Bridge visible in the distance.

We originally thought of doing the Hop On Hop Off bus tour for the city but realized it didn't exist. This was actually better. It was a lot more intimate. Guy has lived in different places and what I enjoyed most was the comparison to other places and his responses to my questions. If you would just like to be learn about the city, Guy is your guy. If you would like to compare Brisbane to another city in another country yo relocate, Guy is yet again, your guy. I definitely enjoyed the tea break. It was good to take in the view, reflect and hear a bit more about the birds in Brisbane. It is important to note that Guy doesn't cancel the tour if you are the only ones there. The other folks cancelled because they were sick today but Guy was happy to take us on the tour. Lovely guy. We definitely loved the water at the end of the bus tour. It is always great to see people supporting local businesses.

The smaller tour group numbers also allow for a more intimate and fun day out. There are some incredible view points in Brisbane and there's really no better spot to stop and enjoy a coffee and see the cockatoos fly by. I had a wonderful time on the half day tour of Brisbane. I was collected from my hotel and got to see a lot of spots I wouldn't have been able to find on my own. The guide was friendly and always made sure everyone felt included with a lot of interesting information about Brisbane along the way. The group size was small so it was easy to follow along and interact with the other people on the tour. Overall, a very relaxed and fun tour.

We toured with Guy in January on a half day trip, and only now getting round to review. Excellent way to see the highlights in the city, with an informed and informal guide in Guy. Clearly loves his city and shares that enthusiasm with guests. Great central pick up point made the tour easy to join and vehicle was comfortable for the size of party. Lots top see including the wildlife in the gardens, some great views, and a coffee and Gluten free cake for me, so couldn't ask for better. Also seeing the Bluey pavilion will give you great kudos with grandkids when you get home. All in all a great trip and a way to learn a lot about a fascinating city in a convivial atmosphere. Happily recommend to all.

Guy provided a very comprehensive bus tour around Brisbane over 4 hours. We got to see a number of sights not possible on our own. Recommend this tour for first time visitors to Brisbane. The tour also provided an included morning tea with coffee and cake.

We enjoyed a beautiful day touring sites around Brisbane on our first visit to Australia. We loved the multiple scenic stops along the way for us to snap photos of our day. The Botanical Gardens were amazing. At the refreshment break we enjoyed our first Flat Whites and Lamington cakes! Cheryl answered our numerous questions about Brisbane and Australia.
