Brilliant White Water Rafting in the Lake District UK

My partner's family visited us in the Lake District for a week, and now the holiday is over, I can say white water rafting was my favourite activity. Our guide, James, was such a star, cracking jokes, full of banter, sharing great stories, but also highly skilled and knowledgeable. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. It was a wonderful mixture of relaxing on the water surrounded by beautiful scenery, moments of Viking-strength paddling and opportunities to test yourself by jumping into the water. The trip ended with an ABBA sing-along on the minibus back to continue the fun. I definitely recommend this white water rafting experience, you won't be disappointed, especially if you're lucky enough to get James. Thank you, James!

This is a definite 5 Star experience. James was brilliant , from start to finish , it took as long as we wanted with lots of fun things to do in between the rapids . His knowledge of the river is amazing and his jokes mmmm endless , but funny . A great day and I’d love to go again . Thanks James and Mark

What a day! Brilliant from start to finish, it’s well worth the money. We started at 1:30pm and finished at 7pm, although it didn’t feel that long at all, we laughed from start to finish, spent a lot of time in the water - which was his send from have to paddle, ha. Tour guides had us all singing to ABBA on the way back too, which just topped of a great day of adventure. Met some fabulous people and would happily do it all again when I’ve regained consciousness (I will be asleep for the next 2days!) great day, great people and the scenery was unreal.

Absolutely brilliant experience! A lot of the adventure was dependent on strong water, but even in the height of a dry summer James and Mark made sure we had a fabulous time. Pick-up was slightly delayed due to the earlier trip taking longer than expected, but the team kept us as updated as they could. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys "active" activities, stunning views and great banter.

Our guild james was brilliant, clear instructions good crack ,and kept it going ,very good experience defo recommend to anyone, you do have to have a good level of fitness to get tho that unlike me ,but very good 👍

Wow, what a morning! A group of 11 of us booked the rafting for a summer works event and it did not disappoint! Our two guides (James and Mark) were brilliant!! They absolutely made the best out of a very dry, British summer and low water levels and our whole group said what an incredible day it was! They kept us safe whilst still making sure we experienced the best of the river and we all had such a laugh with them. If you’re thinking of booking this trip at any time of the year, don’t hesitate, book it! We will be looking to book later in the year to experience higher water levels and we will definitely be back!! Great trip and a great company!

5 stars! My family and I went water rafting yesterday and it was absolutely incredible. The team made us feel safe from start to finish, explained everything clearly, and kept the energy high throughout. The route was the perfect mix of excitement and beautiful scenery, and the kids haven’t stopped talking about it since. We felt looked after, we laughed nonstop, and we made memories we’ll never forget. Highly recommend to any family looking for a fun adventure. We will be back.
