Neera was an attentive your guide, and the perfect mix between providing any information requested, but also mindful of providing us with space. We never felt rushed, but made great time to join the rail journey. Neera scouted to find us good seats. She provided snacks as well as the main meal. We had fun trying some durian on our way home, discovering it in all its different flavours. Our driver, Mr Sam, was a great driver and we felt in safe hands for the duration of the journey.
Here's a warm and professional reply you could use: Thank you for taking the time to share your experience! We're delighted to hear that Neera struck the perfect balance between providing insightful information and giving you the space to enjoy the day at your own pace. It's wonderful that she was able to secure great seats for the train journey and keep you well looked after with snacks and a delicious meal along the way. We're especially pleased to hear you enjoyed trying durian in its many different forms—a fun and memorable taste of Thailand! We'll also be sure to pass your kind words on to Mr. Sam, who will be happy to know that his safe and professional driving helped make your journey comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you for choosing to travel with us. We hope to welcome you back for another memorable adventure in the future!
What a day! Ken was fantastic as our guide. He is a wealth of knowledge and provided us with a great experience understanding the history of WW2 here in Thailand. Having the chance to walk over the River Kwai Bridge and then catching the train over was great. Ken managed to secure us window seats on the left hand side of the train - which are apparently the best! And they were! Lunch was delicious and plentiful. Hellfire pass was a moving experience and thankful to have plenty of time here. Thanks so much to Ken and his driver for a great day.
Here's a warm and appreciative reply you could post: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're delighted to hear that you had such a memorable day with Ken. His passion for sharing the history of WWII in Thailand and creating a meaningful experience for our guests is something we truly value. We're glad you enjoyed walking across the River Kwai Bridge, the scenic train ride—especially those coveted left-side window seats!—as well as the delicious lunch and the moving visit to Hellfire Pass. We'll be sure to pass along your kind words to Ken and his driver. They will be thrilled to know they helped make your day so special. Thank you again for choosing us. We hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable experience in the future!
Our guide Jill was brilliant really looked after us the whole day. She was extremely knowledgeable. Our driver Sam was also very good. So glad we booked a private tour really looked after us
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We’re delighted to hear that Jill made your day so enjoyable with her knowledge, professionalism, and attentive care. It’s also great to know that Sam provided excellent service throughout the tour. We're pleased that you chose a private tour and that it exceeded your expectations. We hope to welcome you again on another memorable experience in the future.
I think it's important for Australians to visit and know the history of the Death Railway Bridge over River Kwai.
Thank you for joining this tour today. We hope you had a meaningful and enjoyable experience visiting the Bridge over the River Kwai and learning about the history of the Burma Railway. We hope this journey has given you a deeper appreciation of the courage, sacrifice, and resilience of all those who suffered and lost their lives during this tragic chapter of history. Thank you for taking the time to remember and honour them with us. Safe travels, and we hope to see you again in the future.
We had a comfortable car and a travel companion who brought us your knowledge. The program was messed up by train delays and renovation work on Hell Fire Pass. We would have liked to know the Hell Fire problem in advance. A little late we had visited an excellent restaurant by the river. It was an interesting day with a dedicated travel companion.
This was a long day but so worth while. Lead by our guide Jill, who was attentive to our needs all day, from getting prime seats on the train, water, helping with photos but because of her knowledge and allowing us time for contemplation, which was much appreciated. The Australian Army were present at Hellfire Pass, rehearsing for their ANZAC day ceremony, which made the visit more special. The way the cemetery was laid out was beautiful. I would highly recommend this tour. Once again thanks to our guide Jill and driver Ray, for taking such good care of us.
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and heartfelt review. It’s wonderful to hear that you had such a meaningful and memorable day. Jill and Ray will be delighted to know their care, knowledge, and attention made a difference to your experience. The timing of your visit, especially with the ANZAC Day preparations at Hellfire Pass, truly sounds special, and we’re glad you were able to take it all in at your own pace. Your kind recommendation means a lot to us. We hope to welcome you again on another journey in the future.
A well planned, interesting and varied excursion which included a short ride on the river to the base of the Kiver Kwai bridge as well as the train ride along Hellfire Pass. A though provoking experience due to the nature of the history it entailed but very worthwhile nonetheless. The short time spent at the well maintained cemetery to remember all the brave personnel who had lost their lives was much appreciated.

We had a great day with Jill and our driver. Only 2 of us on the tour, so it was basically a private one. Good mix of things to do during the day, although there is a fair bit of driving involved due to the distance to the sites from our central Bangkok Hotel. The air-conditioned bus was a godsend in the 35 degree C heat. Jill had everything very well organised and was able to answer all our questions regarding the tour and Thai culture. Very moving to visit the war cemetery, the Australian museum and Hellfire pass itself. Would highly recommend this tour, with this company.

This tour was with Amazing Asia Tours and our guide was Ken. We could not have asked for a better guide. He was very knowledgeable, patient and attentive throughout the day. The tour itself was excellent, and Ken gave us plenty of time at each stop to view, learn and reflect about what went on here in WW2. I highly recommend this tour

Amazing service from start to finish. It's a 12 hour day with a 7 am start but worth every minute. Our guide Oh was extremely knowledgeable & helpful throughout . Also our driver (whose name escapes me) was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Around a 2.5 hour drive out of Bangkok to Kanchanburi & the Jeath Museum, then on to the War Cemetery & the River Kwai bridge - we had plenty of time to walk across - following that was a 1 hour train ride on the death railway itself (over the bridge) followed by a great lunch at a local restaurant. Another 45 minute drive from there to Hellfire Pass which was another wonderful (if harrowing) experience. Last stop was a visit to a waterfall. Then a 3 hour drive back into Bangkok. Chilled water was available all day in the vehicle. Overall an excellent experience. Highly recommended.
