Bogota Zipaquira Salt Cathedral Private Tour + Lunch

Description
On our Tour you will be able to see directly the only underground cathedral in the world located in Colombia, built 180m underground, it is a mega structure that deserves to be among the most impressive in our country and on the planet. The entire structure of this cathedral is carved from salt from the largest salt rock deposit in the world. During the tour there are several stations where you will see the interpretation of the Christian way of the cross, in addition to the central dome where Eucharists are held, intervened by an amazing artistic work of sculpture and lighting, and also natural structures typical of salt deposits, a set of elements that will leave you breathless. Once you finish the tour of the salt mine, the town of Zipaquirá awaits us to visit its central square, some of its beautiful colonial-looking streets where we will find the ideal place to enjoy a typical lunch.

We did a private excursion to Zipaquira and it was very enjoyable. Brandon arrived early and was punctual throughout the whole trip. Even though he didn’t speak English, he helped us navigate getting the tickets, the audio guide, directions etc. He also brought us to a couple viewpoints in the city before heading out - Brandon was fantastic!
It was an incredible experience! I recommend everyone
This was a great trip! Our guide, Brandon, explained every step of the process and was very thorough even though we had a language barrier He was incredible! Salt Cathedral was very cool and then we had a nice lunch afterwards. All in all I would highly recommend this trip!
Super easy and convenient. Javier was easy to spend the day with and drove great!
Christiam was a wonderful guide. We had a fabulous time exploring the Salt Cathedral and Zipaquira. Lunch was fantastic at Brasas del Llano. Be sure and go hungry!!
The whole package transportation in Bogota this dangerous place for foreigners to go out, made me very reassured, the trip is only three places, salt mine cathedral, the nearby area, and extra money for lunch, the guide David's introduction is very detailed, from 8:30 pick up 1 hour drop off, the trip is short, the lunch is quite characteristic but the meat is hard not Chinese taste, it is recommended to visit the salt mine church friends only to book the easiest trip, if not in the winter season, it will be cheaper to buy tickets.
David was well knowledgeable and gave us an authentic Colombian experience!
Eduardo was my commute to Zipaquira. He was very pleasant and guided me around throughout the whole process. I really enjoyed his company because he took care of me. I Recommend this tour… the cathedral is a must visit.
The entire tour of the salt mine is impressive; we also had the support of Cristian, who, in addition to driving well, provided us with valuable and interesting information about the visit to the salt cathedral, as well as information regarding Zipaquirá. For lunch, he took us to a very typical place where the food was tasty and abundant. I highly recommend doing this excursion with Nómadas.
Very good experience. We loved the Salt Cathedral and lunch. Alexander was a great guide. We speak little spanish and he was helpful with translating things easily.
