My wife and I visited Sydney, Australia earlier this year. At first, we thought the city would be quite small and that we probably wouldn’t need a tour guide, but for some reason we decided to book a tour up to the Blue Mountains — and WOW, what an incredible experience it was! Our guide was a young Portuguese man named Helder, and he was an absolute breath of fresh air. His knowledge of the area was amazing, and he was caring, kind, and incredibly passionate about his job. To be honest, Helder’s energy and personality were the true highlight of our entire Sydney experience. Everywhere else we went — restaurants, shops, and outlets — people seemed to lack enthusiasm, and at times we felt like we were a hindrance just by being there. Sadly, the customer service in Sydney was probably some of the worst we have ever experienced. That is why meeting Helder was so refreshing. He made us feel welcome, valued, and excited to explore the Blue Mountains. He is a credit to the company and truly made our trip unforgettable. We cannot recommend him highly enough!
It was a long but amazing day! The views were exceptional and the lunch was top notch. Karyn was amazing! Full of knowledge and very attentive.
Helder was amazing. Fun, funny, clever, smart and a treat of a personality. I have so many nice things to say about him and his tour.
Helder was excellent! We had a great time in the blue mountains! He was so fun and I would definitely recommend!
Karen was an amazing tour guide! Highly recommend!
We are a family of four and spent great day with Karyn as our tour guide. The tour gives a great appreciation of the vastness and wonder of the Blue Mountains and the surrounding areas and of the history of the areas also.
Karen was great! Very knowledgeable. Very kind and helpful.
Karyn knew her stuff! Told us so much about what we were seeing, the history of the place, animals and fauna and answered the many, many interesting but insecent questions asked by one of our fellow travellers. Comfortable minibus and complimentary water bottle. Would recommend.
Unfortunately, the weather wasn't with us today and therefore, we didn't see the sights of The Blue Mountains but our driver & guide, Karyn was so pleasant & kept us entertained with local & historical knowledge. She did her best to make it a special day for all her travellers - the visit to the farm and our arranged meal at The Boiler House was excellent. Thank you Karyn
Comfortable bus, Helder -the driver/guide- was nice and knowledgeable. First stop, Calmsley City Farm, able to get up close to a koala and some wallabys, a bit like a road side zoo. Loved the Blue Mountains, beautiful place. The included lunch was fine although a seat near the window instead of in the back would have been appreciated; I'm guessing Viator brings the Hydro a lot of business, and maybe they could accommodate the group. Disappointed that the tour left off the advertised botanical garden, not sure what happened there. It's not a cheap tour, so I'd expect to visit everything as advertised. Overall a good tour to see the Blue Mountains and some small towns outside of Sydney.
