One of the best and most...

One of the best and most personable tours I’ve ever been on. Rocky was an absolute delight—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind throughout the day. The sights were breathtaking, including the Three Sisters, a beautiful waterfall, and Scenic World, all coming together to provide a brief but perfect snapshot of the Blue Mountains. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the beauty of the Blue Mountains without needing a full day—ideal if you’re short on time but still want a memorable experience.

Rocky and the three sisters

We had an absolutely fantastic day with Rocky from Sydney Top Tours on the Blue Mountains Tour, including Scenic World and a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park. Even though the weather was rainy, it didn’t dampen the experience at all, in fact, it made the scenery even more atmospheric. Rocky is incredibly knowledgeable and judged the group perfectly. The tour was full of interesting information, delivered in a way that was engaging without ever feeling overwhelming. He struck just the right balance between guiding and giving us time to explore and enjoy each stop. The highlight of the day was definitely feeding the little wombats and getting a photo with a koala, such unforgettable moments. A truly memorable experience from start to finish. 5 out of 5, highly recommended.

Operator response

Thank you very much for the wonderful review and for travelling with Rocky on our Blue Mountains small group day tour from Sydney. We’re delighted you had such a fantastic day and that the rain added to the atmosphere rather than taking away from it. Rocky puts a lot of care into reading the group and sharing information in a way that is engaging while still allowing time to explore, so it’s great to hear that balance felt right. Meeting a koala really are special experience, and we’re pleased those moments stood out for you. We truly appreciate your recommendation and your kind words about the day from start to finish.

Excellent service, beautiful scenery, amazing wildlife

Rocky is an excellent tour guide and very knowledgeable and professional. We had a small group of 6 people and visited various stops in the Blue Mountains and Featherdale Wildlife Sanctuary. It’s a great way to see the beautiful Blue Mountains but quite a long day - we left Sydney around 6:40AM and did not return on the ferry to Circular Quay until 6:00PM. I would recommend fewer stops in the Blue Mountains - both Cascade Falls and Wentworth Falls were unnecessary, and other stops could have been shorter. Also, we had half the group doing the cable car experience and half the car not, which was not clear at the time of booking and it was also time consuming to coordinate both groups during an already long day. Featherdale was wonderful, but we had only an hour and could have used more time there, especially if you opt to do the add on experiences in there such as feeding and photos. Ultimately, if you have a spare day in Sydney, it is a lovely experience, but next time I might arrange to only visit Wentworth Falls, Three Sisters, and Featherdale on my own.

Thank you so much for sharing your detailed feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your small group tour, Rocky’s knowledge and professionalism, and the visit to Featherdale Wildlife Sanctuary. We really appreciate your suggestions regarding the itinerary, the timing of stops, and the cable car experience — feedback like yours helps us refine our tours to make them even better. We’re happy to hear that, overall, you found it a lovely way to experience the Blue Mountains and hope that, despite the long day, it left you with wonderful memories.
