Misleading and unprofessional

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience with this tour company. The driver didn’t introduce himself or inform us of where we were going, which made us uneasy from the start. My elderly father tried engaging in conversation, but the driver barely responded beyond one-word answers. We didn’t even know his name, and initially, we felt we might be driven to an unknown location—a valid concern for foreigners in a new country. When I raised these issues with the owner, instead of addressing them constructively, he became aggressive, yelled at me, and threatened to abandon the tour. He insisted this was a driver-only service, despite the tour being advertised as something more. He dismissed my concerns, claiming the fine print explained everything, but I had read it thoroughly, and there was no such information. The 5-hour tour was cut short to just 3 hours because the driver was unaware of the final two stops on the itinerary. When he did attempt to interact, the conversation was unrelated to the tour and provided no value. At that point, we chose to be dropped off at a local shopping center and made our own way back to the hotel. The entire interaction left me feeling disrespected and gaslighted. This is not the level of professionalism I expect from a company affiliated with Viator. Travelers should be warned to avoid this experience.

I booked a tour from 8:30 to 13:30 in the morning, but he didn't show up at the hotel on the day, so I asked him to confirm and he told me that the mosque was closed in the morning due to an event, so I should change it to the afternoon or the next day. When I told him that I couldn't participate because I had other plans in the afternoon or the next day, he said he would refund my money, hung up the phone, and I couldn't contact him after that. Why didn't he let me know earlier that the mosque was closed on that day? When will he refund me? I'm in trouble because I haven't received a reply even after contacting him. Please refund me as soon as possible. I was required to write when I went in the question below, so I wrote that I made the reservation in September, but I didn't actually go.

Great

Both the mosque and caves were amazing places to visit. We had a guided tour of the mosque which was great. The driver/guide was friendly but you are left to look around on your own. Which was great for us as we like looking at stuff at our own pace.

Pls be careful of the opening date and time that the place you would want to go. If not, it wouldnt worth it.

Not sure that the tour knows about that the mosque opens only every Friday morning. They requested to shifted to go afternoon but it was the same that the mosque already closed when we arrived there. Plan was not going well but the driver is nice and friendly.

Great experience!

This was a very beautiful experience. This mosque was splendid. The mosque’s name is Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Mosque; also known as the blue mosque, it was closed to visitors when we arrived, but because we are Muslim we were allowed in to go inside with security and pay our respects. If you are Muslim and end up at the mosque when visitor hours are closed, you just have to speak with the visitor center and let them know you’re Muslim - as a Muslim, you’ll know what to say. The people at the mosque were kind and generous, the mosque reminds me of the blue mosque in turkey. The architecture was magnificent. After the mosque, we went to the batu caves and paid our respect to our ancestors faith, Hinduism, correctly considered Sanātana Dharma, teachings of morals/values/ethics. The batu caves were amazing, the literal natural beauty is breathtaking. This tour takes care of the logistics of getting to both places - no real guide to walk you through the sites, but you can read about these two places online before going and then enjoy the walk around and take in the sites as opposed to being talked to constantly. Very good experience overall!! Very thankful! The driver/guide was very kind and patient with us! We got along very well!

Great

We recommend to see the massive blue mosque at least once when you visit to KL. The tour guide explained us the blue mosque and muslim easily. We could understand the history and the life style of them.
