Departure from Reykjavík Begin with a hotel or meeting point pickup in Reykjavík. Relax on a scenic 45-minute bus ride through Iceland’s volcanic landscape to the Blue Lagoon. At the Blue Lagoon Famous for its warm, mineral-rich waters, the Blue Lagoon offers Comfort or Premium admission. Please be ready at your chosen pickup point 30 minutes before your departure time. Our pickup vehicles are well marked with Reykjavik Excursions logo. In Reykjavik City Center, pick up directly from hotels is not permitted, therefore there are special bus stops within walking distance that are specifically for pickup/drop off for airport transfers and tours. For further information and to find which bus stop you should select for pick up, please enter your accommodation address in the search box of www.busstop.is. Please note, city center hotels aren’t included in the pick up list, you will need to select your closest bus stop number. You decide at the Blue Lagoon on your return time from the Blue Lagoon, here below is the timetable: From Blue Lagoon to Reykjavík: 13:15; 14:15; 16:15; 18:15; (20:15 from June 1.2026).

It is a very relaxing experience. Being in the water makes your body feel good. Everyone should try it!!

This was a great experience. There were a lot of people there, but didn’t feel crowded. It was cold and windy, so the water felt awesome!
It was heavenly! Better than I dreamed of, I would do it again in a heartbeat beat!! Every one should do this.
We loved the Blue lagoon very much but the transportation was not great. We were picked up at the proper stop then the driver had to make several more stops and then I thought we were on our way but they dropped us at a bus terminal where we had to board another bus and sit and wait for more people to arrive . It wasted so much time Coming home again the driver had to make many stops and we were on the bus a long time For what we paid for this tour we would have expected and appreciated a small bus with less stops. We lost so much of our time

Come early for this one grab the premium package. You get a lovely drink three facemasks and you can spend hours here. The change rooms are very westernised here. Don’t worry you’re not showering naked in front of anyone.
The Blue lagoon was amazing. The getting there could have been a lot better. We were on a cruise with limited WiFi. I tried rumors times to find out our pick up location with no luck. We finally just took a cab for $37 to the BSI. Bus station. And the same problem getting back to the cruise port. Luckily the bus driver went out of his way to get us there.

We discovered there was no way to get back to the city from 2 pm until 4 pm. The tour did not provide any transportation in those 2 hours nor did Blue Lagoon, Person I spoke to said he did not think it should have happened -- but it did. We just missed the 2 pm bus and took taxi back to town. There was no shampoo or body wash in the mens showers. The experience was really nice, but for the price -- Blue Lagoon should be more on their toes. You asked for a rating -- I would say Average. I wish I had chosen another Lagoon
