First, the tour driver was 20 minutes late with no communication. Then the van, which was described to have air conditioning, did not and the vents were blowing hot air. Then, the driver stopped for gas, which should have been done before the tour. So much time was wasted. The tour guide was good. The Blue Eye was a sight to see.
Stunning place & great guide ❤️ we had a slight delay due to very heavy traffic. Arvi our host had great communication and was extremely apologetic (although not within her control), she even paid for our train to the top of the blue eye as compensation which was very much appreciated. The blue eye itself was truly beautiful. Great day 💙
The woman doing the tour was not very nice and she even left us behind and started to drive off, we had to run to go and catch her. Would not recommend this tour. There wasn’t much information given to us about the actual blue eye, we were left to wander by ourselves.
A really enjoyable afternoon. The Blue Eye spring is amazing and the scenery is stunning. I enjoyed seeing the beautiful blue dragonflies.
We had booked the guided tour with Marsia, she was really nice!! While traveling in the minivan to the spring she explained a lot of things about the Albanian history as well as the nature surrounding the spring. She had informed us on the pick up time being a bit earlier (due to the expected high temperatures the day of the tour) through whatsapp which was really clear and helpful! All throughout the tour she has been super helpful and understanding. The spring itself was beautiful but a bit overcrowded, but nonetheless i would recommend!
We had such a wonderful experience and that is thanks to our amazing tour guide Xhoo ♥️ She was really helpful and kind, ensuring that the day went smoothly and that we could see the best spots as well as helping us take pictures. Blue eye is also incredibly gorgeous and we’re really glad that we got to see it. Overall it was amazing and we really recommend it ♥️
The tour was simple and relaxed. In a small group of only six people, Xhoi not only provided us with an exciting insight into the history of the Blue Eye, but also made the tour special with her open and warm personality. She took the time for all questions and left us enough space to explore the area ourselves. Over coffee, I had a great conversation with her; unfortunately, time passed much too quickly. You could tell that Xhoi loves her region and enjoys sharing her knowledge. Just the drive through the incredibly breathtaking landscape was worth every minute. Thank you very much for this beautiful experience!
It was an amazing experience to have , also our guide was amazing she explained many things and was open to answer any questions even the one who is not related to the blue eye. The food there is good with good prices , if u have time u should give it a try. The coffee tea are not the best but sure with that view it counts.
Local, very interesting, take good shoes will have to do many climbs and descents, however should always be visited.
You are NOT allowed to swim in this water. The land train runing from the car park to the blue eye can be crazy busy. Luckily our guide organised us private transport to the eye because 2 of us were suffering from bad knees. The place is lovely, with nice cafe/restaurants overlooking the water.
