Their catamaran-style design provides added stability on the water, allowing for a smooth and comfortable ride through calm coastal areas and mangrove surroundings. --- Important Information: * All tours are conducted on double Chiliboats (2 participants per unit). * Minimum height: 48" (1.22 m) | Maximum height: 6'5" (1.95 m). * Maximum weight: 240 lbs (109 kg) per person. * **Swimming is NOT allowed by law (DRNA).** * **Bioluminescence is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed.** * Visibility depends on moon phase, weather, and water conditions.

Bioluminescent Bay Tour – La Parguera Experience a magical night tour in La Parguera’s Bioluminescent Bay on stable and eco-friendly Chiliboats Water Bikes, designed for a smooth and comfortable ride. After a brief safety orientation, you’ll begin a 20–25 minute ride to the bay, where you’ll enjoy approximately 30 minutes surrounded by this unique natural phenomenon before returning. By moving your hands or feet in the water, you’ll activate the glow caused by dinoflagellates, creating shimmering light effects around you with every movement. The intensity of the bioluminescence varies depending on natural conditions, making each night a unique experience. The ride is calm and accessible for most participants, perfect for enjoying a peaceful night under the stars. An easier, more comfortable, and more stable alternative to traditional kayaking, ideal for those seeking a relaxing, safe, and unforgettable experience in Puerto Rico.

- Participation Requirements: Most travelers can participate, • Participants must be between 4'0" (48 in / 1.22 m) and 6'5" (1.96 m) in height, • Children must be at least 48 inches (1.22 m) tall and/or weigh at least 50 lb (23 kg) to safely use the equipment and properly fit in USCG-approved life jackets, • Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times and may require the adult to perform most or all of the pedaling, • Please arrive 30 minutes early for check-in and safety briefing, • Once check-in begins, late arrivals cannot be accommodated, • Late arrivals will be considered a “no-show” and are non-refundable, • Tours operate rain or shine, • Weather conditions in the Caribbean can change quickly, • Bioluminescence visibility depends on natural conditions (moon phase, weather, and water activity), • The decision to proceed or cancel will be made at the meeting point by the lead guide based on safety conditions,

- Safety Guidelines: Life jackets must be worn at all times, Participants must properly fit in USCG-approved life jackets, Follow all guide instructions for safety, No jumping into the water or damaging the equipment, No swimming allowed in the bioluminescent bay by law (Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources regulations, including Administrative Order 2023-02), Smoking, alcohol, and drug use are strictly prohibited, Participants under the influence will not be allowed to participate and will not receive a refund, We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who does not comply with safety guidelines,

Really cool experience. The guides were really knowledgeable, the experience was great and the bikes were in really good shape. The conditions could have been better with warmer water and a darker evening, but we saw the glowing in the most eco friendly way. Definitely recommend.

There was minimal bioluminescence because of a bright moon, but a very cool experience to pedal out to the mangroves at night. Guides were knowledgeable, friendly, and competent. We are 58 and 64 years old, in decent shape, and we found Chiliboats were easy to pedal.
