The day begins with a comfortable departure from Bilbao, enjoying a pleasant journey to the Basque coast. Along the route, you will have the opportunity to admire a spectacular landscape, full of panoramic views of nature. We head to Hondarribia, a picturesque historic village near the French border. During the journey, relax and enjoy the tranquility of this coastal tour, surrounded by beautiful green and maritime landscapes that make this trip a unique experience. In Hondarribia, you’ll immerse yourself in its history as you stroll through its medieval old town, with cobblestone streets, vibrantly colored houses and an atmosphere that transports you back to times. Don’t forget to explore the charming port area, full of charm and local life, and visit Hondarribia Castle, from where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the sea and the city. An unforgettable tour that combines history, beauty and nature.
We arrive in the beautiful city of San Sebastian (Donostia), one of the jewels of the Basque coast. This vibrant city, famous for its elegance and beauty, will captivate you with its combination of beaches, culture and gastronomy. We will start with a panoramic visit looking at the Bay of La Concha and its elegant railings. We will stop at Miramar Palace and its beautiful gardens from where we will have beautiful views of the Cantabrian Sea. En route, we will cross the iconic Maria Cristina Bridge and then enjoy free time, getting lost in the streets of the old town and enjoying the best gastronomy in the north of the country. You can start your walk along the iconic Paseo de la Concha, enjoying the spectacular views of the bay and its golden sand beach. Without a doubt, San Sebastian is a city that offers a unique experience.
Then we head towards Getaria, a picturesque fishing village known for its excellent seafood and rich maritime history. Located on the Basque coast, this charming place will captivate you with its tranquil atmosphere and stunning sea views. Enjoy a brief but beautiful guided tour, with the Basque coast as a backdrop. In Getaria, you can immerse yourself in the coastal beauty and charm of this small town full of history. Visit the Church of San Salvador, a historic building, and the Balenciaga Museum, dedicated to the celebrated designer Cristobal Balenciaga (entrance not included or managed). After a wonderful visit, we started our journey back to Bilbao. Relax and reflect on the day as you enjoy the scenic tour, surrounded by stunning scenery. A day full of history, culture and beauty.

What a day out ! Excellent tour guide Stephan...very comfortable transport. No rushing here and there. Lots of nice stops...with excellent local history and knowledge and great recomendation for lunch etc. provided by stephan. Would absolutely recommend to anyone with a spare day to fill. Not a very interesting tour. There wasn't enough time and structure for San Sebastian which was the main reason I took the tour. A bus tour of the city together with a map for options to cover on my own would have been useful.

The time to explore towns was a little short, but gave a good tasting of each town’s experience. The guide was very knowledgeable!

Well organized! Meeting place was easy to find. Guide and driver incredibly friendly, informative. The guide was Itor and gave a lot of information about the area. Definitely worth it!!!

We were visiting Bilbao but had an extra day to explore. We booked this tour and were not disappointed. Our your guide Amán was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very entertaining. The tour was bilingual, Spanish/English. We had a beautiful day. San Sebastian was stunning. Highly recommended tour.

This is our first time in Bilbao and the Basque Country. For this full day trip, we had a fairly large group but the day was seamlessly organized and we learned a lot and had a lot of fun with Aman, our very knowledgeable and fun guide.

Pedro is a very friendly guide and knows how to make the bus journey very enjoyable, providing historical facts and interesting anecdotes, and the driver, Alberto, contributed to the experience with his careful and safe driving. Each of the stops shone with its natural beauty. It may seem like little time, but in reality, it felt perfect, as it helps you focus on something specific and enjoy it. In Donosti, I chose to be at La Concha Beach, enjoying lunch at the La Perla restaurant and took a stroll along the shore. I will return!

Our guide and driver were both excellent. Our guide Adur provided a wealth of information about the Basque region and its history. He was organised and efficient and included humour in his presentation. We found his recommendations of where to eat in San Sebastián extremely helpful.
