Great overview of the city and covered lots of territory that would be more challenging on foot. Julia was very accomodating to our twosome which we appreciated, especially because we were late in finding the place.
After a couple of days walking Florence in the heat, we needed to mix things up — and this bike tour was exactly the right call. Our 12-year-old had a blast, and honestly, so did we. Our guide Julia was wonderful. She kept the pace comfortable for everyone, covered the iconic sites, and also took us to some lesser-known gems we never would have found on our own. She even gave us tips for the rest of our trip, which we appreciated. The undeniable highlight was Piazzale Michelangelo — the panoramic terrace perched on a hill south of the Arno with sweeping views over the entire city. The views were absolutely incredible, and Julia gave us plenty of time to really soak it in. A note for families or anyone with physical concerns: the tour does require basic bike-riding ability, and Florence's streets are a lively mix of pedestrians, bicyclists, and all manner of vehicles. That said, Julia was incredibly accommodating — she grouped the kids and anyone needing extra time at the front to ensure safe passage through the more chaotic stretches. It felt thoughtful and well-managed. Highly recommend this for families looking for something active, engaging, and a little off the beaten
Cheerful and carefree, Giulia guided us through the traffic and the crowds. Unfortunately, the headset stopped working beyond a certain distance, so you did not receive all the information about the sights. Safe and independent cycling is definitely necessary! But this way, you can reach all the hotspots, including Piazzale Michelangelo; it was definitely worth it!!
Thank you for your review and for joining our bike tour. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed the experience. We are sorry to learn that you experienced issues with the headset during the tour. At the beginning of every tour, our guides inform all participants that if they experience any problems with the radios or bicycles, they should notify the guide immediately so that the issue can be resolved. Our guide also carries spare radio equipment specifically for this purpose. We appreciate your feedback and we look forward to welcoming you for an unforgettable experince next time.
Who knew that the best way to see Florence was on a bike? It might seem overwhelming to navigate the busy streets, but its doable and pretty safe. Our family of 4 ( 13 & 11 yr old) had a great time. Julia was kind and extremely knowledgeable. If we had been spending more time in Florence I would have booked more tours with her.
Very good and welcoming people! Beautiful tour!!
First, I must say that I was the only participant who showed up for this tour. The guide, Julia, was so gracious she agreed to take me regardless. It turned into a private tour and much more, pointing out all the locations I needed to find that week. Unless you really enjoy walking, cycling is absolutely the way to go in this city. Not only can you see so much it’s The ultimate way to gain locational perspective. Simply put, I could not enjoy my time in Florence nearly so much as I have without the experience of this tour. Thank you. Thank you.
What a great day! Toured by bike in the crowded area near the museums. Our fearless leader led us effortlessly through the crowds and over the bridge. Was able to stop briefly at several sights! Loved it🥰. Riders beware the tour includes a ferocious hill. I'm 71 and only made it halfway. But our guide stayed with me, and we walked our bikes together to the top of the hill.🤣 Breathtaking views of the city below. 🤩
We had a lovely morning biking for two hours. Juliet gave us a fabulous lay of the city. Very knowledgeable of All the landmarks. She is friendly and professional. Even walked us to a lunch spot after tour ended. Highly recommend
Luigi was great. The tour was really nice to do! It was fun and educational. We saw all the highlights. Will recommend for everybody
