Our guided small-group rides are a fun, safe, and easy way to experience bike-friendly Montreal. This is a must-do for any visitor, an accessible way to take in the city's key landmarks while enjoying its urban nature along the way. Expect photogenic scenes at every turn and real insight into Montreal's unique vibe, culture, and history. We'll set you up on a quality bike that's a genuine pleasure to ride, then lead you on a loop route along Montreal's impressive bike paths, quiet streets, and hidden laneways. This is our most popular tour. You'll cruise through Old Montreal, the Old Port and Riverfront, Downtown, and the charming neighbourhoods of Le Plateau and Le Village. Your guide is one of our specially trained Montreal ambassadors, who'll gradually unravel the city's story, which plays a big part in Canada's own. Along the way, you'll pause at scenic break spots to take in the cityscape, natural views, architecture, outdoor art, and everyday neighbourhood life.

Great way to see the city. Get the e-bike if you’re older. It’s pretty flat but does help with the few hills. Jessi was fantastic!
The tour was easy to book. The staff were friendly and professional. We had a great tour guide and were able to see multiple sights around the city with neat historical information.
Tip: if you are not in decent biking shape, get the e-bike it would make the experience more enjoyable. My buddy and I were and we enjoyed the extra effort keeping up with Rodrigo :) There’s not a better way to see a city than on a bike, and Montreal was perfect. Rodrigo safely navigated us through various parts of the city and the stops were nice as he was a wealth of information from history to architecture. I had a backpack with water and they threw on a front basket to store it which made more comfortable and cooling while riding. They offer other tours through the city, if we had time we would do them.
Great tour. Would recommend doing it at the beginning of your stay. Guide was excellent. He gave great recommendations. Definitely upgrade to the E-bike. It’s worth it.
Great bike tour with Sandy and our three boys. Sandy was a lot of fun and knew a lot about the area. She was good with us and the rest of the group. I would very much recommend this if you have a few hours to spare in Montreal.

It was lovely! Very easy experience and wonderful to do with family of teens and adults. We learned a lot about the city and enjoyed the sights of canal. It was wonderful to meet other international visitors to the city.

Great tour that takes you around a variety of places in Montreal. Be prepared to navigate alongside traffic and pedestrians. Our guide Darren was fun, polite, and knowledgeable.

My review is a combination of the company that provided the tour and the actual tour itself. First, our experience with Fitz was fantastic. They do a great job of taking care of their customers. Rodrigo was an excellent tour guide. He knows the city very well, he's personable and informative, and he has an amazing memory (we were all impressed with his ability to remember the names of every single person in his fairly large tour group). So I give the company 5 stars. But I give the tour itself only 3 stars. I've done bike tours in cities all over the world, and this was one of my least favorite. But it's not the fault of the company...they do the best with what they're working with. It's just that Montreal isn't exactly a spectacular city to tour. What I wish we had done instead, and what I would've done on another day if we had more time, would be to rent bikes from Fitz and go explore the MANY miles of awesome bike paths and dedicated bike lanes they have throughout the area.
