The jungle hike was a true jungle hike and difficult. The guides Money & Freeze (not sure of the spelling) were exceptional. The temple visits were informative and included a special ceremony. The lunch place really exceeded expectation. It was fresh hand crafted farm to table ingredients. We were a party of 4, 2 couples and everyone had a great time and would highly recommend..
We got caught in a huge tropical downpour, and it was a hard trek in the rain. Despite that, we had a laugh about it! The temple tour was good and Janes Bond was a good guide.
The weather was horrendous; torrential downpour. But Gurock (aka. "James Bond") turned it into an adventure that bonded us all as a group. A wonderfully memorable experience. Recommended, no matter the weather conditions.
What a great tour! They take you to some unique places that you might not experience elsewhere. The tour was perfectly planned, and our guide (along) was very knowledgeable. Oh, and the food at the farm-to-table lunch is absolutely incredible! Only negative was that they cancelled my other tour, and had to reschedule this one due to low turnout. So in off season, you may be cancelled on, but they will try to rebook you if possible.
Great and fun experience with our guide james bond. Fantastic views and pics. Visited big Buddha lookout, Chalong Temple
Such a great experience when you’re in Phuket. Climbing up to Buddha trail , relaxing with coconut water, and than continue to the Big Buddha with great van! Lunch was delicious! Above all that we got this amazing tour guide, GuRock, who was wearing a smile the moment we stepped in the meeting place and all along the way, it sure is make the difference!
James Bond was a fantastic tour guide, we had the best time. He was knowledgeable, funny and kind! Thank you for a great experience.
I went the day after a large rain storm and land slide making traffic really bad. I arrived late but they accommodated me. I missed the hike but was able to catch the ride up the mountain, with the ride back down, to meet the group and see the Buddha and temple still! Great experience even with missing the hike!
The guide James was super friendly and the pick up from the hotel was on time. The walk up to the Buddha was difficult, very steep, but James took this into account and was very accommodating of me - the slow and unfit one in the group! We stopped many times and he talked about Thai plants and pointed interesting things out to us. It was very hot but we made it to the top and stopped at a lovely cafe for coconut or watermelon juice. At the Buddha, James was very knowledgeable of Buddhism and let us explore on our own. They also provided lots of water and cold wipes! We stopped off at the temple where he showed us how to make a blessing. We didn’t stay for the food - we had to get back to our sick son - but James arranged for us to be taken back to our hotel straight away. Nothing was too much trouble. This was a great experience - really very hot, so be prepared. I am not very fit, I struggled a bit, but I would definitely recommend. James was superb.
The trek was a steep concrete path which is not difficult in itself, the difficulty was mainly in the temperature. Our guide James Bond tried to take everyone into account (the faster as well as the slower hikers). He also took us to the big Buddha and the temple where he gave us sufficient explanation but also the time to look at everything calmly. We finished with a nice meal.
