Presently, the Royal Palace of Rabat functions primarily as an administrative building, as King Mohammed VI, the son of Hassan II, does not inhabit the premises . It is within this palace that the seat of government is situated.
The Mausoleum of Mohammed V is a mausoleum located across from the Hassan Tower in Rabat, Morocco. It contains the tombs of the Moroccan king Mohammed V and his two sons, late King Hassan II and Prince Abdallah.
The Hassan Tower stands as an iconic structure in Rabat, the capital of Morocco, serving as the minaret for a 12th-century mosque that remains incomplete.

Khalid was our driver for this tour. Vehicle was very clean and comfortable. He pointed out various points of interest on our driver to Rabat. We drove past the Royal Palace and on to our first stop the mausoleum and Hassan tower this was followed by trip to the walled town of Medina and lastly the Bab Chellah. Very pleasant day and to do it at our own pace made the much more pleasant than a group tour

The driver spent the whole trip asking me to do a good review and always talking to the cell phone and sending messages (lack of security). He only drove from Casablanca to Rabat and stopped at the points of interest but did not explain anything or follow the visit.

We experienced good communication with our Driver Sabri & Guide Hamid throughout our tour. Sabri was an informative & Safe driver to/from Casablanca-Rabat and during our stops. He chose a great restaurant overlooking the river to the ocean. Hamid thoroughly explained each tour stop giving us the historical data as applied. When appropriate he offered inside information on their traditions, architecture and culture. We enjoyed our experience on this tour
