It was informative and a beautiful experience. The guide was helpful and his insight on Zurich was wonderful.
Enjoyed our tour bus, gondola and ferry ride for an overview of Zurich! It was helpful to get out of the packed city for a bigger perspective. Loved the stop for a Swiss bite to eat or drink at the top of the ferry overlooking Zurich! One note, half our bus spoke Spanish so our guide was constantly speaking the same rhetoric in first in English then Spanish with no break which made it difficult to listen the entire 4.5 hrs. Made us wonder what city wonders we missed with the time divided between groups. We would have been happy to pay more with an English only group. Recommend indicating our tour will be split between two groups. She tried very hard to cater to both but that’s just not possible. Driver was great at navigating narrow roads!
Excellent tour Very well scheduled and executed The guide was outstanding and the driver excellent Congratulations on the excellent staff
Azzurra’s tour of the Vatican was amazing! Her card lists her title as storyteller which is what makes the tour so wonderful. She’s so much more than a tour guide. She wove stories for us that helped us not only understand what we were seeing, but the history and the people behind it. She brought the Sistine Chapel to life for us in such a rich and memorable way. She took so much time and care with us answering our questions and adapting the tour for us. It wasn’t just a canned presentation as so many tours are. She was super knowledgeable while being engaging and funny. When we entered St. Peter’s Basilica, above the noise, she heard a voice and recognized it as Pope Leo. She then realized that it wasn’t a recording, and she verified that the Pope was actually inside the Basilica just a few meters from where we were and he was holding a mass. She then spent over an hour helping move us into positions where we could see him and get photos. Her patience was amazing in the crush of people. Only after the fact did we realize that she spent nearly two more hours with us than had been scheduled and never once did she signal that she was in a rush or off the clock. I wish every guide was half as good as Azzurra. I’ll never come back to Rome without booking a tour with her! Thank you Azzurra for helping my family make a memory that will be a story we retell for years!
Good overview of the city and surrounding areas - found it hard to hear our guide at times. Headsets would be great.
Rafael was a great guide. He shared a lot of information with us & managed to navigate between English & Spanish to accommodate all his guests. The tour was fun & the sites were amazing. Shout out to Ernesto, our driver, who manoeuvred that big bus with ease under very challenging circumstances.
The tour was great. The length of the tour was just enough without being too long. The information provided by the tour guide was top rate. I would highly recomend this tour ?
This is a fantastic tour to do. Although we had some trouble finding the starting location as following the instructions sent by the group was slightly misleading, the tour itself was most definitely amazing. It was a great day, great weather, Zurich looked beautiful and the tour guide, Alexander, was a great tour guide. There is lots to see - we definitely recommend
Our tour guide Alexander was informative and provided a great commentary during the tour. Our tour bus driver Victoria was amazing, on the narrow streets of Zurich. I found the tour enlightening! I was disappointed that the cable car was not the area view cable car as alluded to in the post with the pictures. Alexander explained the cable cars were closed; however, the tour information did not state this information. Overall the tour was decent.
We didn’t take the cable car ride up the mountain and to use up 40 minutes we stopped at the Lindt Chocolate Factory which allowed us time to shop and eat. A waste of time.
