Bali Batuan Temple is a local Balinese Hindu temple looked after by the local resident of Batuan countryside. The temple is designed very beautiful with full of Balinese ornaments and the roof temple building is made from the fiber of chromatic black palm tree. It is strategically located beside of the main road from Denpasar to Ubud. For over a thousand years, Batuan has been a village of artists and craftsmen, old legends and mysterious tales.
Tegenungan Waterfall is the beauty and hidden waterfall in Ubud village, exactly located in Tegenungan Kemenuh town, District Sukawati, Gianyar. To get to this waterfall take arund 16 km from Dempasar City or arund 30 minutes driver by car. The water is furthermore clean and clear. It is suitable for washing or just playing around water and the most interesting Waterfall to visit during your holiday in Bali Islands.
Tegallalang Rice Terraces in Ubud is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system), which according to history, was passed down by a revered holy man named Rsi Markandeya in the eighth century. Tegallalang forms the three most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud's shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan.

Ubud Art Market or also known as Pasar Seni Ubud is a traditional market that is located in the heart of Ubud, opposite of the Puri Saren Royal Ubud. This place offers many attractive souvenirs made by local Balinese such as handmade bags, statues, kites, silk scarves, and many other handcraft goods. You can find two markets here,1 side for traditional art market and another side for traditional and basic market requirement.
Puri Saren is an Ubud King Palace where it is used as a governance center in the empire era. You can see the beautiful houses building that are designed with Balinese traditional style and full of wood carving decorates it. The luxury Entrance Gate (Candi Bentar) and dressy ancient house building are decorated by the fertile tropical garden. This Palace is right located in the hearth of Ubud Village and aposite to the Traditional Art Market.

We recently returned from an absolutely amazing trip to Bali, and we owe a massive thank you to our driver, Riko. We spent two fantastic days with him, including a day traveling to Ubud where we visited the breathtaking Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and the stunning Tegalalang Rice Terrace. Riko also took us to explore the local markets. He is so knowledgeable about the island and shared wonderful insights about the culture and the sites we saw. He was always there for us—punctual, reliable, and incredibly attentive. Putu was the best tour guide! I found him through a WhatsApp group recommendation, and he was amazing! We were on a short trip in Ubud, and he had plenty of itineraries to choose from. He accommodates your schedule and gives you different options for temples and waterfalls if you’ve already visited some or prefer to see something different from his itinerary. We visited a temple, rice terraces, a coffee plantation, Ubud city, waterfalls, and the Ubud Monkey Forest. I’d definitely recommend him! We had a perfect day trip in Ubud.
Another great tour with Riko as our tour guide. We changed our plans last minute and Riko was very accommodating and personalised our tour to include what we wanted to see. He was very flexible and allowed plenty of time at each visit. The ubud palace is beautiful and the market was fun to shop in. The rice terrace is lovely to see, but we were unable to explore it properly as we had some elderly with us. It looked very interesting though, just too many stairs for my in-laws. My daughter loved the bali swing and got amazing photos and video. We asked to go to a coffee plantation and Riko made it happen! It was a great experience learning about the plantation and coffee bean process. The tastings were the best part, with a gorgeous setting in the background. We also stopped at the volcano and waterfalls. Great spot for pics at both those locations too. A long day, but well worth the visit to Ubud. Thanks again Riko for looking after us!!
I was delighted with the tour that made us Putu, a nice and polite boy Taught us and tried to explain all the things we were seeing even though our English is not very good We'll repeat for sure.
Overall, Bali exceeded our expectations in every way. The people, the food, the scenery – everything was just perfect. We can't wait to return!

Using Bali Journey Tours was one of the best experiences of our lives. Our driver, Putu was so efficient and was easy to communicate with. He was a very careful driver and we learnt a lot about the Balinese culture during our time there. He is passionate about his job and always had time to answer our questions. They offered a private tour experience and took us around most of the attractions, giving us an insight of each one. He was also great at telling us the best spots to take the perfect photos and videos. Bali Journey Tours offered several options and were extremely flexible if you didn’t want to visit all of the places on the list, but the choices were there. They charged a very reasonable price for the day and we just paid for all the entrance fees at each attraction which was only a few pounds for each place. The driver also organised all the tickets so there was no queuing up for us. We particularly enjoyed the Ubud B trip which was an amazing experience. We also visited the south of the island which had some beautiful beaches. I would highly recommend Bali Journey Tours and will definitely be using them again during our next visit to Bali.
