Our Stockholm walking tour with August was one of our best tours ever. August was extremely knowledgeable about the city's history, as well as the history of the country of Sweden. He kept everyone entertained and engaged. Our group of 9 was quite diverse and he managed to meet everyone's needs. If you have the opportunity to take this tour, we would highly recommend it!

The tour was very good and our guide was very knowledgeable. The group size was fine although I would say the speed of walking was a bit fast. There was a marathon going on the day of our tour, but it really didn't interfer as we were still able to get around to see the various sites.
Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the tour and found your guide knowledgeable, and that the marathon didn’t get in the way of seeing the city’s highlights. We also appreciate your note about the walking pace—this is helpful for us to improve future experiences. We’d love to welcome you back for an even better experience next time!

This was one of the highlights of my first visit to Stockholm. August was knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about the city he grew up in. I especially appreciated how he connected Stockholm’s history to modern Swedish life and provided useful recommendations for exploring on my own afterward. The tour helped me understand the layout of the city and gave me a much greater appreciation for places like Gamla Stan and the waterfront areas. If you’re visiting Stockholm for the first time, I strongly recommend taking this tour as a starting point. You can then go back and spend more time at the Royal Palace and museums.
It’s wonderful to hear your first visit to Stockholm was such a memorable one. We’re delighted that August’s knowledge and passion for the city helped bring both its history and modern life into context, and that the tour gave you a strong sense of orientation and appreciation for areas like Gamla Stan and the waterfront. It sounds like it was a great foundation for exploring the Royal Palace, museums, and beyond at your own pace. Thank you for your thoughtful recommendation, and we hope to welcome you on another tour in the future!
