- Timezone: Sri Lanka observes the Indian Standard Timezone (IST). There is no day light saving time clock changes.
- Hotel Timings: Check-in after 1400 hrs. Check-out time before 1200 hrs, Please inform before if there is need for early check-ins and/or late check outs.
- Electrical Adaptor: Sri Lanka uses electricity at 230V.50Hz and has electric outlets in a triangle configuration so advisable to carry an international travel adaptor to avoid any inconvenience.
- Currency: The official currency of Sri Lanka is the rupee (LKR). You can exchange any major foreign currencies at airport/bank
- Climate/weather: Sri Lanka has a tropical climate and is always warm. however its much cooler in Kandy, Nuwara Eliya and Ella thus warm clothes are recommended and Sri lanka observe two monsoon southwest monsoon May to September rainfalls to southwest part and western side of central mountains, Northeast monsoon season will effect from December to February brings rains to north and north east part of the country.
- Temples and Dress Code: As a mark of respect both gender should cover shoulders and knees when entering a place of worship in Sri Lanka. You are also required to remove shoes and hats and you are not allow take a photos turning back statue or in front of the statue .
- For all travelers valid passport and visa is required. All visitors are encouraged to apply visas through (ETA - Electronic Travel Authorization). Tourist visa is valid for three months hence passport should be valid for no less than six months after the holder’s date of arrival.
- Immunizations and Health: No immunizations needed. Dengue fever is prolific in the region but there is no vaccination against it so travelers need to take precautions against mosquito bites and visit the nearest hospital if they suspect infection and advisable to bring the Insects repellent and Sun cream

I have been to 45 countries by now, the private tour guide and people of Sri Lanka in general were exceptional and kind. The guide went above and beyond to accommodate to everything my mom and aunties asked for he made sure that we had a comfortable journey from the airport pick up all the way to the tours and airport drop off. Premil is an extraordinary driver guide. He is charming, smiling, nice and always punctual. He knows everything about his country in all areas, cultural, political, religious, culinary, botany, good addresses, the best times to visit... he also has a great international general culture, which allowed us to exchange with him on high states of matter than Sri Lanka. Just one regret, that he was not with us the whole time of our journey. I highly recommend Premil.

Room category was poor for the paid price. Not possible to adapt the trip. Food was ok but not diversified. Too much mandatory visits in « partner shops ». Tourism development impacted the quality of the service.

Premil was fantastic, very responsive with communication in the planning stage prior to our arrival and very dependable once we arrived. We hired Premil for a six day tour of the country and would recommend him to anyone. He aided in the planning and recommend an itinerary, responded gracefully with last minute changes we threw at him during our trip. He was waiting for us at the airport when we arrived, I was concerned about this most after reading about other companies leaving people stranded. Prompt when meeting us each morning and never had to wait on him. Very knowledgeable about the sights we visited, and a pleasant person to be around. Would not hesitate to hire him again.
We met Premill from Real Lanka Holidays company with my wife and 9 years old daughter 2 days before our Sri Lanka trip. Even though we requested at the last moment, they took care of us and arranged a car with a driver. Throughout our trip with Sam, which lasted about 1 week, he took care of us like a tourist guide, not like a driver. Prenil was very competent and was always responsive to any of our requests. He showed us round and was very professional throughout. He even shared his Wifi which was great help. He has a great local knowledge and was able to give us a details about every landmark we wanted to know about. He made us feel safe in this beautiful country, and his communication was 10/10. Will definitely will use him and his company again, and will share his details with our friends and family in the UK.

We went on this tour as a family (4 people). When we were picked up the first day, we were greeted with a welcome sign and received a very warm welcome :) we did this tour with our guide for several days and we were totally thrilled! Premil fulfilled all of our wishes and even exceeded our expectations. Through this tour, he brought us much closer to the country and the very lovely people. We never felt like just any tourists, but rather friends who were shown the beautiful country. I would like to warmly recommend this tour operator and especially our tour guide and driver Premil. I thoroughly enjoyed almost all weather, rains, cold, humid, hot. Have experienced mountains,beaches, forests, river, plains. People are lovely, they treat tourists as their house guests.food is amazing but spicy. Bentota beaches mite be underrated but it's serene and peaceful....
