We had a wonderful time on this Florence walking tour. Irina was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating historical details and local insights that brought the city to life. We especially appreciated how the tour balanced Florence's major landmarks with lesser-known stories and hidden gems. The pace was comfortable, the route was well planned, and we left with a much deeper appreciation for Florence's history, art, and culture. It was one of the highlights of our visit and a great way to get oriented in the city. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Florence.
Olga was a great guide for overall history of Florence! Her knowledge and humor made our time enjoyable. Thanks!
Irina was extremely knowledgeable in her presentation. Her English is impeccable and she speaks 4 languages!!! She was friendly, informative and humorous. She is the consummate professional and serious about her craft. We came away from the tour informed and inspired to quench our thirst for more knowledge about Florence and Italy in general. Thanks Irina!!
Wonderful walking tour of the old town in Florence. Our guide Irina was full of information and interesting facts. She was extremely patient with our kids and their 100 questions. Would definitely book another tour with her again next time we're in Florence.
Our guide was wonderful!!! Very helpful and knowledgeable. Also helped me navigate online how to get tickets to Duomo! She was great and we learned a lot 😍
Irina was a fabulous guide-so knowledgeable! She was very pleasant in addition. Recommended a wonderful restaurant for lunch.
Good informative tour. Maybe more walking and less standing especially in the beginning. Also ask what the people wanted to see/hear about
Dear Carl, Thank you very much for your feedback — I truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience. I’m glad to hear that you found the tour informative. Regarding your comments, I would like to clarify a couple of points. At the beginning of the tour, I include a short introduction to provide historical context, which helps make the rest of the visit more meaningful — although I understand that pacing can feel different for each guest. At the start of the tour, you expressed a particular interest in architecture, and I made a conscious effort to focus more on this topic throughout our time together. I also encouraged you to interrupt me at any moment and ask questions — I was more than happy to answer all of yours during the tour. As for tailoring the itinerary, this specific tour follows a carefully designed route that guests choose at the moment of booking. For this reason, I don’t usually ask what each person would like to see beforehand, as the structure of the experience is part of what is being selected. That said, I always adapt the storytelling and focus based on my guests’ interests during the tour. Thank you again for your feedback — I will certainly keep it in mind to continue improving the experience. Warm regards, Irina
We had a great time! We learned a lot - it was the perfect introduction to Florence. It really helped orient us for the rest of our trip.
It was easy to meet up with our guide and she did an excellent job on educating us on some basic history of Florence. It was our first time to Italy and we fell in love with Florence. The tour was very intimate because there was only two of us. Can't wait to go back!
Thank you so much for your kind words! It was truly a pleasure meeting you and sharing a bit of Florence’s history with you. I’m so happy to hear that your first visit to Italy — and to Florence — left such a special impression. I loved how intimate our tour was; it made it even more enjoyable to explore the city together and dive into its stories at a relaxed pace. Florence has a way of capturing hearts, and I’m thrilled it did the same for you. I hope to welcome you back one day and discover even more of this beautiful city together. Until then, safe travels and thank you again for choosing to explore Florence with me! 💛 — Irina
My tour with Olga was fantastic. She maximized the 90 minutes we had, telling great stories, showing me key areas and explaining their history, and provided great advice on how I could spend the rest of my time in Florence. This was a fantastic way to start my time in the city - next time I would do a longer tour!
