The tour continues to Piazza della Signoria, the political heart of Florence followed by Piazza della Repubblica: the historical heat of the city. This huge square is surrounded by chic hotels and cafes and is a great place for an aperitivo!
The tour continues to two of Florence’s iconic landmarks; the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore (outside) and Giottos’s Bell Tower. Also situated in the Piazza del Duomo is the Baptistery, one of the oldest buildings in Florence and famous for its magnificent Porta del Paradiso.
There will be a lunch break of about an hour; the guide can give you suggestions to have a quick lunch in the area.
