I booked this experience months before our trip and in reading different Facebook posts about go Karting in Japan I learned that there was weight limits. I was terrified because I was so excited to do this experience. My husband and I are both more than 200 pounds. I reached out to inquire and Fiona quickly responded to let me know that I could try when I arrived and if we were able to comfortably sit in thr go kart, we could ride. We did this experience the very first day of arrival on Japan and we had a BLAST! The scenic one hour route was just enough time and we were so happy that we were able fit in thr go Karts comfortably. Our guide was great and captured lots of photos of my husband and I. So worth it! We had no idea that there was several locations and mistakenly went to another location down the street. So a friendly reminder of the location and this information would have been helpful. FYI- My husband weighs about 260 pounds and I am 280 (18/20 clothing). I Uploaded a photo so that this could be helpful to someone else who is plus size and want to ride.
Great team, great time, great weather, great photos and videos...would recommend to anyone
It was an amazing experience, I will highly recommend, the only downside was that our guide was not very friendly, he admonished us as though we were adolescents, maybe he was having an offday, he said he was Hawaiian which surprised me cos I know that they are usually super chilled folk nonetheless I highly recommend this
Rakesh was fantastic for being our tour guide! The Mario cart is a great experience, definitely something to do when in Japan. Book through Monkey Adventure Kart. Book through them directly!
Such a fun and unique experience! They had a spanish guide which was super cool to have as i was with a bunch of other latinos including myself. So we had a lot of fun!!! I would recommend doing the longest route they have. You're not going to want to get off at the end.
Monkey Kart racing was an amazing experience! We saw a lot of Shibuya, Laura was an amazing guide and driver!
Laura was such a fun and engaging tour guide! She kept us safe and even shared information about Shabuya as we drove around! Her directions were clear and easy to follow, she had such a sweet personality that really made driving through the city behind her such a great experience! I'd do this experience every time I came to Japan if I had the chance.
Monkey Kart Adventures had excellent service and our guide Rakesh was so fun and lively and took good care of our group. Although this was not racing, the thrill of driving go-kart among real Tokyo traffic was immense. Really funny to dress up as Pokemon figures too.
Very good experience Gy was awesome
We had a wonderful experience with Julian as our guide. He was very thorough in explaining how the Karts worked and what to expect during our trip. He was an excellent navigator and tour guide. He took great pictures of us out on the road and made sure we were all comfortable and having fun. Truly an awesome experience here in Tokyo. Cannot reccomend this enough.
