An amazing class. Very in depth about how all parts of the ramen are made and you get to help with all parts, not just making the noodles. The gyoza’s we made were delicious. It was my first time eating ramen ever. And it was the best bowl of ramen of my whole trip.
Really great experience overall and super great bonding for our group as well!! Would recommend
This is my third trip to Japan and the first time I have taken a cooking class here. What an absolute treat. Our instructors were top notch and it was a blast. We started by learning about ramen and quickly got into making our own ramen from scratch, including the noodles! We also learned how to make gyoza, which we had as a snack prior to finishing the ramen. I would rank this as a do not miss experience in Tokyo.
Thank you very much for the review Jonathan! Glad you enjoyed the class so much and really appreciate all the kind words you've said about us :) Hope to hear you making ramen or gyoza at home and as mentioned in class, please do send us some photos if you do!
The course is a real highlight. You not only learn how the food is prepared but also gain some background knowledge and information about variations. Tips and tricks and hands-on experience at various cooking stations. Our teachers were fantastic and very friendly, so we had fun throughout. The gyoza and ramen were also delicious. Highly recommended.
Thank you very much for your detailed reply and so glad you enjoyed the class so much! The team has trained many, many hours over the last couple of years so, so glad to see you received their training so readily :) All the best on your future ramen journey! haha
It was one of my best experience in Japan, and best cooking class I have ever had. The teachers were very kind, really went into the details of ramen, had us participate in every step of the process, and everything was very well structured. The ramen bowl and giozas we made and ate were truly delicious, and they were able to adapt the class and ingredients so that I could prepare everything vegan,
Thank you very much for the review and so glad you enjoyed it so much! We always pride ourselves on our vegetarian option being restaurant quality so really glad to receive this review so thank you once more
This was wonderful! Highly interactive and hands on. I felt like I truly learned how to make ramen and left for much more respect and appreciation for the process. The instructors were warm and knowledgeable and made for a fun and inviting morning! Highly recommend!!
Gary and Leo did an awesome job in organising the 7 of us to make the Gyoza and Ramen. They new their stuff, were amazing in their organisation and we confidently turned out perfect Gyozas and wonderful tasting Ramen. The 4 hours was packed with knowledge and things to do. One of the best "tours" we have done.
It was a pleasure joining this class. I learned a lot about ramen and gyoza, and the experience was filled with fun and great vibes. Truly an enjoyable and informative session!
It was very fun and informative and the staff were very helpful and kind and made good conversation!
Yoshi and Amo are so warm and welcoming to their cozy and uber efficient cooking space. We had six kids in our group, with ages ranging from 10-14 and they were all able to participate in every step of the process, including chopping veggies, making noodles, folding the gyoza and constructing the bowl of ramen. We were thoroughly engaged throughout the entire process and were rewarded with delicious food at the end!
