Fantastic tour, beautiful countryside, enjoyable wine tasting, all in all a great way to see the Beaujolais region. Clem, the tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable - and brought the whole tour alive!! We would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore outside Lyon.
Our tour began at the Tourist Centre in Lyon and we were all aboard our 8-seater bus and up onto the snow-dusted hills in short time. The views were spectacular and old stone villages very picturesque. A Beaujolais wine education followed with a local vigneron showing and explaining his vine management processes, before detailed tasting and examination of each wine. Fantastic accompanying charcuterie and cheese be nibbles and well. Our tour guide spoke French/English seamlessly and was very knowledgeable and friendly. A great day!

This review is for the half day tour. Guide was really great, very knowledgeable. But there are only two stops on this, one being a winery. Perfect for a group that is just looking to see the countryside and drink some wine. If you are a serious wine drinker I would suggest booking a full day tour. Also, if you have motion sickness I would suggest taking some medication before as the roads can be quite winding!
But truly a great day.
