You will be accompanied by a local Guide, Justine Poncet, founder of "Sur les Sentiers de L'Oenotourisme", who knows the region well and who will tell you all along the way about the history, estates, wines and secrets of Beaujolais. You will make stops to enjoy the magnificent views from the coasts! You will discover the Gamay and Chardonnay grape varieties, the emblematic varieties of the region. You will enjoy exceptional white wines and red wines. We drive you in our luxury vehicle and everything is planned so that you just go and enjoy your day with us. Direction Bagnols and Beaujolais des Pierres Dorées. Cross golden stone villages to get to the Village of Oningt.
Tasting in a winery in the south of Beaujolais. After a warm welcome, immerse yourself in the intoxicating world of wine during a guided tasting. Let yourself be enchanted by the subtle aromas and exquisite flavors of local wines. Enjoy between 4 and 6 wines. Learn about wine growing, winemaking and wine aging in the region. (approximately 1h15 on site)
Your day begins in the splendour of the Golden Stones, where the vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see. The first stop (about 30 min) is in the village of Oingt, discover the charming village of Oingt, famous for its picturesque cobblestone streets and well-preserved medieval architecture. Stroll through its narrow streets, soak up its authentic atmosphere and admire the panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards.

Lunch in a local restaurant to taste authentic regional cuisine, highlighting the culinary delights of Beaujolais. Let yourself be tempted by tasty dishes that you can accompany with local wines. Lunch price not included in the price but reservation at the restaurant made for all participants - local restaurant with daily menus from 25 €/pers. (Approx. 1:30 at the restaurant)
After lunch, head towards the north of Beaujolais, where the famous wines await you. Tasting in a second estate: 4 to 6 wines. Discover the subtleties of the different terroirs, grape varieties and winemaking techniques that make Beaujolais wines famous.
Return to Lyon Return time depends on traffic. We will be in Lyon between 5:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

A fun way to learn about wine and the Beaujolais area. Justine was very knowledgeable and engaging guide. The wineries were family run with the owners proudly showing their vineyards, operations and wines. This tour is perfect for the novice wine enthusiasts and takes you deep into one of the well known French wine regions.
