Serena was a fabulous tour guide. Her knowledge was impressive! She answered all of our many questions and is so passionate about the history of the Basilica.
This was an excellent 2 hours. We learned so much about the life of St. Francis and the basilica. Serena, our tour guide was very accommodating to mobility issues and stairs. She was a treasure trove of information as well. We highly recommend.
In-depth tour by a knowledgeable woman who was passionate about her job. It was a truly inspiring and blessed experience and place. Thank you so much.
Serena was an excellent guide, with a great knowledge of the Basilica. She was able to answer any questions, taking her time for us.
Tour guide was professional and knowledgeable. Enjoyable day in Assisi . Would recommend to anyone traveling to Italy.
I never went on a private tour as too expensive. I did go on a Cosmos tour which was paid for in the Cosmos tour! It is very impressive It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. St Francis of Assisi is buried in a crypt here. The basilica was begun in 1228.
Very knowledgeable and friendly guide who understood the limited walking capacity of some in our group
After our two-hour private tour of the upper and lower basilicas of Saint Francis, I can't imagine this experience without the expert guidance of Serena Paolini. She shared so many facts and little things that we would not have noticed, but the amount of information was never overwhelming, just purely enjoyable. She also knows well how to comfortably move you through the spaces. Communicating with ear phones meant that we easily heard every word. I would definitely use this service again and highly recommend it to others.
The Basilica of St. Francis needs no reviews. It is very beautiful and suggestive; the tomb of St. Francis is exciting. We queued so long to get in but it was worth it.
