The tour starts from Puerto Pañuelo in the impressive Llao Llao Peninsula. After an hour of navigation, we arrive at the Quetrihue peninsula, the seat of the Bosque de Arrayanes, located in the northeast of Lake Nahuel Huapi. The Arrayan (Quetrihue in the Mapuche language) is a shrub with an exquisite saffron color and white flowers. In this place, unique in the world, it takes on the size of a "tree" to form a magical and unusual Forest. Then you will sail to Puerto Anchorena, Victoria Island, where you will be able to enjoy a native flora, prolific in species of magnificent size. Letting yourself go back in time, walking the trails that lead to Playa del Toro, to discover there the cave paintings made by the native peoples of this area, within the framework of a splendid volcanic sand beach, is an unforgettable and magical experience. I don't think it's worth it, it's a long way and there's not much to see or do for what it costs. you couldn't pay by card in the cafeteria just cash

Nice to do

It was a beautiful day and great to get out on the lake. I enjoyed the opportunity to walk a bit. In retrospect I don't think it would have been too hard to arrange the transport to Victoria Island by taking the municipal #20 bus to Puerto Panuelo then taking with the boat companies

Not as described at all...

I was expecting an English guided trip with 3 h in Victoria island and 2 h in arrayanes island with maximum 10 people in the group, just as mentioned in the description. On the other hand, we got there on time for the trip (10:00) and then the guid told us in spanish (I am a spanish speaker but my husbend is not) that the 3 h in Victoria island is only for the spanish tour, and if we want everything in English, we would have to waite until 14:00 and have only one hour on victoria island. We decided to take the spanish tour because we were not going to wait so much time to get a shorter tour. Then, on the ship, we discovered that there were way more than 10 people on the tour and that there are more the are going to come. Moreover, on the Arayanes island there was even an additional catamaran that was added and the island was way overcrowded. Eventually, when the english speaker group showed up, we saw that even there the English guidence was lacking. Adding to that the tour is overpriced to begin with and after that we had to pay national park fee of 24 usd each and a parking fee for our car (about 15 usd). I do not think that the tour price is worth it. Long story short, it is not a fully guided tour in english, not a maximum of 10 people and the timing on each island is way shorter than mentioned. I would recommend to take a simple bout to Victoria island and to the Arrayanes forest you could get by foot or bicycle.

Promenade island victory forests of arrayanes

Beautiful family adventure, water with its different nuances because of the thaw, the flora of the forests of arrayans and the culmination on beautiful Victoria Island. Dazzling landscapes with excellent attention from guides.

False advertisement; big dissappointment!

The experience we received, while somewhat enjoyable was nothing like what was advertised/what we ordered. We registered for a 10am trip including 2 hours with an English speaking guide. We received tix to a 2pm boat trip with no English. It was also advertised as a small group tour and ended up about 250 people. Very disappointed. WOULD NOT REVOMMEND! Save your money. The scenery from the boat was pretty, but you can see similar views elsewhere in Bariloche. And the trees can also be found around Bariloche; no need to go to the island/forest.
