Barcelona Sagrada Familia Small Group Tour, Optional Tower Access

Description
Explore Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia in a small group with an expert guide, from its colorful stained-glass windows and symbolic facades to the newly completed central Tower of Jesus Christ. Choose optional access to the Passion Tower to upgrade your visit with impressive views over Barcelona. The Passion Tower visit is independent and is not accompanied by the guide. Top Picks: - Discover the small details, hidden symbols, and stories on the Sagrada Familia facades that you might otherwise miss. - Learn about the newly completed Tower of Jesus Christ and its blessing by Pope Leo XIV in 2026, 100 years after Gaudi’s death. - Upgrade your experience with optional access to the Passion Tower and enjoy impressive views over Barcelona. - Enjoy a more personal experience in a small group, rather than joining one of the larger guided tours commonly offered at the basilica. - Stay inside the Sagrada Familia after the guided tour and continue exploring the basilica and museum at your own pace.

Itinerary
Your tour begins at the Nativity Facade. As you look closer, you’ll see scenes from the birth of Christ surrounded by plants, animals, and symbols inspired by nature. It’s easy to see why this side is considered the most joyful and expressive. Next, stop at the model of the completed Sagrada Familia and visualize how this masterpiece will look once finished. Then, step inside and take a moment to look up. The towering columns branch out like trees, creating a feeling of standing in a peaceful forest. As sunlight filters through the colorful stained-glass windows, the interior glows with shifting hues of red, green, and blue that change throughout the day. After exploring the interior, head outside to the Passion Facade, a huge contrast to the one you saw earlier. Its stark lines and dramatic sculptures tell the story of Christ’s final days. You’ll feel the expression of pain and redemption on this facade.
If you selected the Passion Tower option, continue to one of the basilica’s most impressive viewpoints. Take the elevator up the Passion Tower and enjoy views over Barcelona’s city centre. The tower visit is not guided, and the descent is made on foot via the tower staircase.

Our guide Roberto was excellent and we had a wonderful experience
This tour gets a star because it’s not a scam like many other Sagrada Família ticket resellers. It legitimately got me inside the church, but that’s the only upside. The guide was not knowledgable, and was unable to answer my questions about the architectural design. I was able to answer my own questions and learn more through the free Sagrada Familia audio guide and museum downstairs. He also made jokes making fun of the sculptural style and artwork, which I found very offensive considering we were there to appreciate the art. Tour operators like this buy up all the official tickets so tourists have to go through them to secure entrance. Do yourself a favor and book tickets through the official site a month in advance so you don’t end up having to pay these ridiculous elevated prices for a useless service. Or, better yet, line up a couple hours before Mass on Sunday morning to get in for free.
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. All our guides are officially examined, licensed by the Government of Catalonia, and highly trained to provide professional tours of the Sagrada Família. We regret that some comments made during the tour were not perceived in the spirit intended, as our goal is always to present the Sagrada Família with professionalism and respect. Sagrada Família tickets are nominative, so they cannot simply be purchased in large quantities. A small-group guided tour is a different service from ticket-only admission and includes a licensed guide, organization, and customer support, which is why the price is naturally higher. We appreciate your comments and will take them into account.
The guide is exceptional. We usually do private tours through Centurion (highest level of Amex) throughout Europe, and this was by far the best tour guy I’ve ever experienced. He was heartfelt, kind, knowledgeable, funny. He extended the time for my daughter and I to view different areas that weren’t part of the normal tour. He has a beautiful soul, and I feel very fortunate that we experienced Sagrada Família with his energy.
Excellent tour. Would definitely recommend taking this tour
Are guide Franchesco was great, provide a lot of detail information. Highly would recommend and would book again.
Our guide was amazing. He was very kind and knowledgable.
Great tour with knowledgeable and friendly guide. Would recommend vs self guided audio tour. Thanks!
Tour guide Raimon not just knows in detail but, lives the experience to tell the details, ery engaging!
This was a great skip-the-line tour that I managed to book only two days in advance. Sagrada Familia inside is so beautiful and unique, like nothing I've ever seen before. Our guide, Raymon, was very knowledgeable. It was really interesting to learn about the history of the cathedral and all the architectural details and their symbolic significance.
Our guide was very knowledgable.
